Quibbling about numbers doesn't help. We can all agree that wartime stats are hardly ever trustworthy. We'll never know exactly how many people died. Moving on from that to get to the point.... Roughly 49M people died for you to learn this lesson. And those are only the ones listed in this meme. The pattern is clear: When the decision is to kill you en masse, an attempt to disarm you en masse happens first. Learn from history. (It's falsified and flawed, but there are still lessons to be had while we're cleaning up that mess too.) Watch what happens to others when they relinquish their self-protection or allow it to be taken from them: It's never good. Self-protection is your right, and retaining it makes the clearest sense for increasing your chances for survival. What's it take for everyone to understand this? This is not difficult.
