⭐️ Sunnah Practices on Eid al-Fitr
1. It is recommended to wear perfume and dress well on Eid al-Fitr both for those who stay at home and those who go out, for small children and the elderly.
2. It is recommended to eat first before going to the mosque, that is with the aim of differentiating between Eid al-Fitr and the fasting month of Ramadhan.
3. Perform the sunnah prayer 'Idul Fitri after 16 minutes from sunrise. The sunnah prayer 'Idul Fitri is sunnah to be performed in the mosque in congregation, and it can also be performed at home individually.
4. Be kind to relatives and neighbors. Eg, saying to one another, “تقبل الله منا ومنك”
5. Visiting parents and relatives on Eid al-Fitr.
6. It is recommended that the direction of the road taken when leaving for the sunnah prayer 'Idul Fitri is different and further than the road taken when returning home. The wisdom of this is as follows:
a) Because the reward for leaving is greater than the reward for returning.
b) For the two roads to be a witness to his journey when performing worship.
c) So that he can give charity to the poor he meets on the street.
d) If he belongs to the group of 'ulama', then the purpose is so that the people around him who meet him on the street can ask him about the laws of Islamic Sharia.

⭐️ Amalan-Amalan Pada Hari Raya 'Idul Fitri

This shows us that if we can fast in the month of Ramadan, InsyaAllah we can continue practicing self restraint and discipline even after Ramadan.
If we can pray consistently in Ramadan, InsyaAllah we can maintain that same devotion and connection with Allah throughout the year.
If we can guard our modesty and cover our aurah in Ramadan, InsyaAllah we can make it a lifelong habit of obedience and dignity.
If we can wake up for Qiyam and seek Allah in the stillness of the night, InsyaAllah we can keep that closeness and strive for His mercy beyond this blessed month.
Ramadan was a reminder that we are capable of so much more than we think. The key is to carry this momentum forward, knowing that Allah’s guidance and strength are always with us.

As Ramadan says goodbye, it leaves behind an impact on our hearts, minds, and souls. These 30 days were more than just abstaining from food and drink, they were a journey of self discipline, reflection, and spiritual growth. We learned patience in hunger, gratitude in abundance, and humility in prayer. We discovered the power of sincere do’a, the beauty of silent tears in sujood, and the strength that comes from relying solely on Allah.
This month reminded us of the true essence of life detaching from worldly distractions and turning towards our Creator with sincerity. We learned to purify not just our bodies, but our thoughts, actions, and intentions. Through fasting, we felt the struggles of those less fortunate, making us more compassionate and generous. Through Taraweeh and Qiyam, we deepened our connection with the Qur’an and found peace in its words.
As we step out of Ramadan, let us not leave behind the lessons it taught us. Let us continue to guard our tongues, soften our hearts, and strengthen our bond with Allah. The true success of Ramadan is not in how we worshipped during these 30 days, but in how we carry its spirit throughout the year. May we emerge from this blessed month as better Muslims, closer to Allah, and steadfast in our faith.

When a person tells you something, hold on to it with care and integrity. In Islam, trust (Amanah) is a sacred responsibility.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“When a man speaks a word, then looks left and right (to ensure privacy), it is a trust (Amanah)." (Abu Dawood)
This teaches us that when someone shares something with us, especially in confidence, we should guard it as an Amanah, ensuring we do not betray their trust.
Additionally, Islam emphasises good character.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Nothing is heavier on the scale of a believer on the Day of Judgment than good character." (Tirmidhi)
Holding onto someone’s words means not twisting them, not betraying their trust, and not using them against them. It also means listening with sincerity and responding with wisdom. As Allah says in the Qur’an:
“And do not betray the trust of Allah and the Messenger, nor betray your trusts while you know [the consequence]." (Surah Al-Anfal 8:27)
So, when someone shares something with you, hold onto it with honesty, sincerity, and righteousness because in the end, we will be accountable before Allah for how we handled the trust given to us.

28 Ramadhan 1446H
this last few days will eventually mark our “lasts”,
it is significant because it’ll be our “last terawih” “last qiyamulayl” “last sahur” “last iftar” as Ramadhan is leaving us.
although i feel that this Ramadhan we have done quite a bit, i feel that we could’ve done even more.
but Ramadhan is leaving us soon, there goes our 30 days spent.
i hope that we spent our 30 days well. may Allah accept all our deeds, in sya allah.
nevertheless, let’s try not to go back to our old habits & continue doing the same exact deeds that we’ve been doing in Ramadhan, like reading qur’an, qiyamulayl etc.
it’s definitely something for us to ponder upon; will we be able to meet Ramadhan again next year?
wallahu ‘alam.

May Allah keep our hearts firm in His religion even after the month of Ramadan, grant us istiqomah in our worship, sincerity in our intentions, and strength to overcome challenges. May He accept our deeds, forgive our shortcomings, and guide us on the straight path until we meet Him. Aamiin.

Last Friday of Ramadhan 1446H.
alhamdulillah, i got to experience Ramadhan this year, i had the opportunity to do things that i didn’t do last year,
but i just don’t feel it’s enough, it will never be, i am still trying my best, to be the best version of myself.
there’s too many khilaf in me that tells me and drives me to repent even more.
will i even be able to meet Ramadhan next year? is this gonna be my last Ramadhan? i am not ready, ya allah. please let me experience Ramadhan once more.
i am just a humble soul with too many sins, hence, forgive me ya allah, ya mujeeb.
may Allah accept all our prayers in this blessed month of Ramadhan

Raise the bar of your worship in these final days. No one is promised another Ramadan, so give it your all and remain steadfast during these precious nights. Don’t limit yourself to just a few—strive every night, for Laylatul Qadr could be among them.
