🌧 assalamualaikum everyone! it is currently raining right now! masya allah. اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا Allahumma soyyiban naafi’an. O Allah, make it a beneficial rain. @selfreflectionforself

🧕🏼 Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The believers who show the most perfect Faith are those who have the best behaviour, and the best of you are those who are the best to their wives". — Riyad As Salihin 278 — “Men are the protectors and maintainers of women because Allah has given the one more strength than the others and because they support them from their means.” an nisa 4:34 in conclusion, women are born to be more dominant and powerful in their own way, men is only there to protect and guide them here and there in their ‘aqidah, not to over-control or being more “powerful” than them. protect the women, treat them with kind and respect, always give and accept different opponents and views so that you can learn from each other. be gentle, with women. (2/2)

🧕🏼 Women is highly regarded in Islam. ☪️ why? when she’s born, she becomes a reason for her parents to enter Jannah. when she marries a man, she completes half his deen. when she becomes a mother, paradise lies beneaths her feet. in islam, you do not: - make women cry - hit women - cheat women you do: - treat you wife as princesses (1/2)

Ya Rabb, indeed, death is far more certain than the day of marriage. So do not let a servant of Yours be consumed by worries over a future that You have already perfectly decreed. Protect their heart from attachments that distance them from You, and shield them from the trials and temptations of this world. If one day You have written for them to be united with one of Your servants, then let that person be a source of tranquility, a companion in faith, and a means for them to grow closer to You. O Allah, remind every believer that marriage is not the ultimate goal, but rather a path toward seeking Your pleasure. Let their hearts yearn not for this world, but for Your mercy. Grant them patience in waiting for what is best, wisdom to trust in Your divine plan, and contentment with Your decree. If love is written for them, let it be one that strengthens their faith, and if solitude is their test, let it be filled with Your presence, for no love is greater than the love of the Creator.

🥑 do not look at who is talking, but look at what he is saying. - imam ali ibn abi talib from this quote, we can all agree that, anyone is able to do da’wah, no matter how much you’ve sin, no matter how bad you’ve wronged. if you have the intention to spread da’wah, and it is sahih/authentic, and not false da’wah, bismillah; there is nothing better than a brother spreading da’wah to another. may Allah accept all our good deeds! allahumma amin.

Modesty (حَيَاء) is not just a physical attribute but a reflection of a believer's inner character and consciousness of Allah. It is a quality that encompasses humility, self respect, and dignity, all of which are core to a person's faith. The Prophet Muhammad saw said, "Modesty is part of faith," Reminding us that true modesty is a manifestation of our sincere connection with Allah. It teaches us to avoid arrogance and show respect towards others, while also recognising our inherent value without boasting or seeking attention. Modesty in speech, dress, and actions helps preserve the purity of the heart and strengthens one's relationship with Allah, for it is through modesty that a person maintains their integrity and true worth, seeking reward not from others, but from the Creator.

When the people of Jannah reunite, they will remember all the times they spoke about Jannah in this world. They'll look back and laugh, at how short life was, and then smile, because beautiful is their final abode. The people of paradise will have all that they desire. One step into Jannah and they will remember no pain. They will say they never suffered, they will say they never cried. A dip in Jannah. Oh how much we long for that moment. The moment where we reunite, we hug our loved ones once again. We forget about all the pain, and thank Allah for all the tests. How strange does it seem, that these tests which weigh a ton on our chest today will one day elevate us. Elevate us so high, that we will thank Allah. We will thank Him for testing us, for loving us and for giving us more than anyone could imagine. A place of eternity, vast, beautiful, peaceful. Everything one can desire. Be patient, oh beautiful slaves of Allah, for our Lord is more Merciful than a mother is to her child. Thank you Allah.

Whoever wants to know what Allah has prepared for him, should look to what he has prepared for Allah.

Allah says in surah al-Dhariyaat [51]: [فَفِرُّوا إِلَى اللَّـهِ ۖ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ] "So flee to Allah. I am certainly a clear warner to you from Him." [50] In his tafsir of this ayah, sheikh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-'Uthaymeen said: [الفرار إلى الله يكون بالقيام بطاعته واجتناب نواهيه لأنه لا ينقذك من عذاب الله إلا أن تقوم بطاعة الله.] Fleeing to Allah is done by being obedient to Him and avoiding what He has prohibited because nothing can rescue you from Allah's punishment except for being obedient to Allah. [Tafsir surah al-Dhariyaat pg. 216]

Ya Allah, Bless our efforts and purify our intentions, that we may: Acquire knowledge, like the wisdom of Sayyidah A’ishah (RA), whose understanding was deep and vast. Guard our modesty and chastity like Sayyidah Fatimah (RA), whose purity was a light in this world. Be loyal to You, as Sayyidah Khadijah (RA) was to Your Beloved sallallahu ‘alaihi wassalam — steadfast in love towards the dīn, sacrificing our worldly leisures for Your Pleasure, and faith that is unshaken. Place our trust (tawakkul) in You, as Sayyidah Maryam (AS) did, standing firm even when the world turned against her. Remain unwavering like Sayyidah Asiyah (RA), whose faith shone bright even in the shadows of tyranny. Ya Allah, grant us sincerity in our intentions and the strength of istiqamah, so that we may walk in the footsteps of these noble women—those whom You have honored, and whom we take as our inspiration. Al Fatihah.

A believer, should always remain in the state of tafakkur (pondering/reflection). With tafakkur, it strengthens faith, fosters gratitude, and keeps the heart connected to Allah. When you reflect on His creation, you see His wisdom everywhere. When you reflect on your actions, you grow and improve. When you reflect on your blessings, your heart fills with gratitude and contentment. Furthermore, Shaytan is not able to penetrate the heart that is in constant remembrance of Allah (dhikr). Without reflection, it’s easy to become distracted by this world and lose sight of what truly matters. But when you take a moment to pause, ponder, and realign your heart, you stay focused on your purpose and prepare for the eternal life ahead. The wise person is the one who reflects, learns, and strives to be better every day (istiqomah). So keep reflecting, keep growing, and keep your heart alive with the remembrance of Allah.
