The Qur’an reminds the struggling, the broken, and the wounded that no matter how hopeless the path may seem, there is a refuge with Allah where despair becomes light and hearts find healing.

“وَاذْكُرُوا اللّٰهَ كَثِيرًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ” Remember Allah often, so that you may be successful. Life gets loud, heavy, and distracting. We chase progress, stability, happiness, but sometimes forget the One who controls every outcome. This verse is a gentle reminder from Allah that success is not only in our efforts, but in our remembrance of Him. Dhikr isn’t only tasbih on the tongue, it’s a heart that turns back to Allah in moments of fear, joy, loneliness, or comfort. It’s choosing patience when anger feels easier. It’s trusting His timing when things don’t go our way. It’s remembering that nothing is too small for Him, and nothing is too big for Him. So remember Allah in your quiet moments and your chaotic ones. Remember Him when you feel lost, and when you feel blessed. The more you remember Him, the more your heart finds clarity, purpose, and peace. May Allah make us among those whose tongues and hearts are always in remembrance, and may He grant us true success in this world and the next.

I’ve always spoken about finding the right friends, or letting go of those who are not meant to stay in your life. However, grieving after losing a friendship, is often overlooked. It hurts when someone who was once a safe place suddenly becomes a memory. If we loved them sincerely, then moving on and making dua for the best for them is the purest form of letting go. 🤣 To anyone grieving a friendship right now, trust that Allah does not test a soul beyond what it can bear. May Allah ease and soften your heart. May He replace your sadness with clarity, your loneliness with peace, and your loss with something far better than you imagined. 😋

Hadith Related: Abdullah Bin Ma'sud said that the prophet Rasullulah SAW said : "Whoever reads one letter from the Kitabullah ( the Quran ) for him one good reward and one good reward will be multiplied ten times . I did not say Alif Lam Mim is one letter but Alif one letter ,Lam one letter and Mim one letter" [At Tirmidhi ,2835]

And sometimes the guilt or heaviness you feel after a mistake is actually a mercy, a reminder that Allah still wants you to return to Him. If He didn’t care, your heart wouldn’t feel anything at all. So don’t let your sins make you run away; let them be the reason you come back. Allah hates the sin, not the sinner, and every small step you take towards Him is welcomed with mercy. 💐

One of the most comforting truths in Islam is that Allah swt never stops loving His servants, even when they fall into sin. He dislikes the action, not the person. This is why the door of repentance is always open, because He sees our effort, our struggle, and our intention to return to Him. 💐 There’s a hadith where the Prophet ﷺ said: "Every son of Adam sins, and the best of those who sin are those who repent.” If Allah swt truly hated the sinner, He wouldn’t invite us back so lovingly. He wouldn’t promise forgiveness before we even ask. He wouldn’t say that His mercy overcomes His anger. 💐

If you're young and your deen is your priority, then you are blessed immensely. Don't ever look at others and feel you're missing out. A youth who grew up worshipping Allah will be one of the seven types of people under the shade of Allah on a day where there is no shade but His.

Semoga ini menjadi peringatan bagi kita semua 🌸

We often forget that even people with the most knowledge can slip, not because they don’t know the rulings, but because the heart gets pulled in directions it didn’t expect. And that’s exactly why reminders benefit everyone. Talking badly about others & holding hatred aren’t “small” mistakes. They’re actually some of the biggest tests of the heart. Knowledge tells us what’s right, but it’s the heart that decides whether we follow it. Backbiting is haram, not to restrict us, but to protect our own souls. Every time we expose someone’s flaws, we open a darker place within ourselves. Sometimes the tongue moves faster than our heart can filter, and we say more than we ever intended. Hatred without a justified reason is also haram. It harms us far before it harms the person we dislike. It eats away at the heart, weakens iman, and takes away our inner peace. And the truth is, we’re human. Anger, hurt, and disappointment can push us into words or feelings we didn’t plan for. That’s why the scholars always emphasise: “Guard your heart and guard your tongue, your iman sits in both.” This reminder isn’t about pointing fingers at anyone. It’s about remembering who we’re trying to become. Allah doesn’t ask us to be perfect. He asks us to realise our slips, turn back, and cleanse the heart again. May Allah protect our tongues, soften our hearts, and keep us sincere in every step we take.

hurting people's feelings has become so normalized that we forgot we need their forgiveness to enter jannah

Even when life confuses you, trust Allah. He knows what you don’t, and His plans are always kinder than your own. 🌿

☔️ while we enjoy the breeze from the wind, let’s not forget to recite the du’a when it is raining! du’a when 🌧️: اللّهُمَّ صَيِّـباً نافِـعاً Allahumma shoyibban nafi’a O Allah, make it a beneficial rain! Sahih Bukhari 1032.

As-salamu'alaikum Here's a brief summary of today’s khutbah: 1. Take a moment to ponder on the signs of aging we see on our parents - These signs of aging remind us of the fleeting nature of this worldly life - We must prepare ourselves to provide the best possible care to our aging parents 2. Four practical ways to express our love and genuine concern for our aging parents - Firstly, Ensure a safe home environment - Secondly, Nurture their spiritual well-being - By downloading the Qur’an, selected Hadith and favourite religious lectures on their devices - Thirdly, Bring the world to them - Visit them regularly, show our genuine affection, help them reconnect with friends - Fourthly, Be attentive to their overall well-being
