Is the church dead? Once a verb, church meant taking action, the body of christ at work. Now a noun that describes a place of worship. The church at Sardis was described as being “dead” Rev 3:1. It appeared to be alive – had “a reputation of being alive” – looked spiritually vibrant on the outside – but was spiritually lifeless. Jesus is the head, his disciples the hands & feet. Obediently they walked with Christ doing the will of God. Then what is our problem? Churches today are filled with people & worship music. We should be seeing an overwhelming majority of disciple recruits, all eager to do the work of Christ, sharing the gospel truth and leading others to salvation. "Be watchful, strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die,for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received & heard; hold fast & repent. Therefore if you will not watch,I will come upon you as thief,& you will not know what hour I will come upon you." Revelation 2: 2-3 🙏🔥

Good morning and happy Friday warriors! As we head into the weekend. I just want to remind you that no matter how bleak a situation may be, God can turn it around. Yes He can! Don’t let the enemy rob you of your joy. When the enemy comes at you with accusations to remind you of your past, your sin, your mistakes, your setbacks, your failures, just remind him and tell him…”Yes, all that may be true, but I am forgiven, and cleansed from all unrighteousness, I’ve been given a clean slate to start over again, God’s grace covers me, and each day is a brand new day…so get out!” Be encouraged my friends. Everyone of us is in a battle of some kind. Remind yourself, you are not alone in this battle. Many others are fighting something. Surround yourself with like minded people in your battle. Let us pray for one another. If you feel you don’t have enough faith for the moment, call upon God, call up a friend, because: “Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 And of course; “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. A little boy showed up with only five loaves of bread and two fish for lunch, but in the hands of Jesus there were thousands fed and even 12 baskets of food leftover (John 6:1-13). A woman showed up to a well with an empty pitcher for water, but in the hands of Jesus she went back home that afternoon with a spring of living water (John 4:5-29). We show up and surrender our temporal lives to Jesus, and in the hands of Jesus we receive eternal life (John 3:16). Have you ever felt like you don't have much to offer God? The devil is really good at getting us to believe we can't make a difference; however, no matter how insignificant we may feel, God can take our lives and do more than we could ever imagine. Take comfort in knowing He doesn't need our ability...He needs our availability. It may not seem like we have much to offer by the world's standards, but God wants to take even our smallest acts of faithfulness and use them for His glory. Don't be afraid to give God your life, no matter how insignificant it seems; He is in the multiplication business, and He may just be waiting to change the world through you. What do we really know? As I contemplate that fateful somber day 21 years ago, I remember exactly where I was, how old I was, what I was doing, and who I talked to that day, and how I found out about it. Fast forward 21 years, and what do we really know about 9/11? We all saw the horrific footage since then. The plethora of documentaries on our televisions with the detailed and graphic descriptive footage, photos, and accounts of individuals who witnessed it. Since then, there have been many speculations and yes, I’ll say the word…”conspiracy theories” about the subject, but what do we really know? We’ve all heard most of them; it was terrorists, it was an inside job, foreign entities involvement and yes advanced AI and “deep fake” videos to fool all of us. Who really knows with the exception of the perpetrators? We’ve experienced the gaslighting from media, the corrupt government and it’s entities, Hollywood and the over reaching social media control. One thing I have learned in this awakening movement is the fact that things aren’t always what they seem. I think most of you will agree with me on that one. We know the fingers of deception is like a cancerous growth that keeps spreading out of control. We have been living in a world of believe what you see and hear rather than trusting your instincts. You know, that deep embedded part of you that is called discernment. A warning from God that is telling you something just doesn’t seem right about this. For many of us it took years to see it. We only believed what our eyes, and ears heard. We ignored that still small voice trying to warn us. But something happened, a veil has been lifted and now we see with our discerning eyes. God removed the veil. It is time He says. It is time to know things. We started deepening our thoughts about eternity. We realize this life is not forever. We try to reconcile in our finite minds, how and when will justice be carried out? How will the truth be known? Will our questions ever be answered? We have to remind ourselves it has been reconciled already. A long time ago. We may not have all the answers to our questions right now. But, we wait until we’re on the other side of heaven when we can have a frank conversation with Him to discuss I imagine. God is both mystery and majesty. He is also just. As we relive the events that are forever etched in our minds, we must also remember God is our comforter. He knew we would face the horrors of a fallen world. But,He had a contingency plan already lined up. His Son, Jesus Christ. We may never know the whys, but we will always know the truth about God and His greatest provision for mankind. We love Him because He first loved us. We embrace Him and run to Him like a child runs to their Papa because He is the only one that brings comfort. So when we are reminded of this anniversary of “Never Forget”, we should never forget we already have an answer. Despite our yearning for answers of what really happened. We don’t need to know everything, but that in everything we need to know He holds the answers. He alone is our answer. We know this because His truth will become our truth…this is what we really know. And how do we know this? Because, there is a time for everything. It is a sure thing. We can know this right now! Who are the children in your life spending the most time in the company of? Our children are in front of a teacher for the majority of a day. Are the results of good influence? Jesus was, is, & will always be the best teacher for us & our children. Don't let the world dictate & tell you we can't bubble wrap and protect our kids. That's our job! Ravenous wolves in sheeps clothing are everywhere, & not all hide their degeneracy! We get one shot at parenting, let's be sure to give them a solid foundation & root them in righteousness so they learn to seperate themselves from the snares of evil men. Many are still very deceived, putting their faith in men. They see old government leaders dropping positions like flies at random, "unexpectedly" stepping down from their positions, and begin to celebrate. They believe that their efforts to fight resulted in this victory. This couldn't be farther from the truth. Nothing more has happened than a "changing of the guards", and satan's agenda is still in full effect, you can take that to the bank. When we drop our guard, is when the enemy strikes harder and advances. We can't afford to be naive, we were born for such a time as this, Esther 4:14, Christ is coming. “But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:34-36

The promises of God are abundant but because we live in a culture of instant gratification, we fail to let God work in our lives and see them. We are as impatient now as was Abraham and Sarah, who though God promised them a son, used maidservant Hagar to give them what they wanted, now. This is us today, always prepping, never exercising patience, but rather impatience with God's will & His timing. We want that car, that spouse, that job, & today we use the maidservant of loans and financial credits, dating apps, & employment agencies to achieve these things in our timing and not according to His will or His timing! We often think of waiting for something as a waste of time & opportunity. But what would happen if the church redefined the word WAIT to a verb, an action word, it would be revolutionary, working out & exercising our faith in God & His promises. " And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28🙏🔥

God tells us that “Children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” (Psalm 127:3). There is a satanic agenda today which works to pervert everything good and godly. Because children are a blessing from God and a reward from Him, the powers of hell have always worked overtime to pervert this blessing. In Bible times, children were sacrificed to the false god Moloch; today, children are sacrificed to the false god Planned Parenthood. The enemy has a plan for children, no matter what age: They murder children in the womb and call it being “pro-choice.” They inject poison into little ones and call it “health and safety.” They sexually groom children and call it “education.” They satanically indoctrinate children and call it “entertainment.” They traffic children and call it a “conspiracy theory.” This war on our children is not only because children are a gift from the Lord, but also because children are the future. If they can brainwash and control our children, they know the next generation will have no one to stand up against their demonic tactics. Psalm 127 goes on to say, “As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth” (v. 4). Children, raised in the Lord and taught His truth, can make a mighty difference in our world. When King Herod was worried about a baby boy taking his place as King, he had all the baby boys two years old and younger killed as a precaution (Matthew 2:1-16). In the same way, satan fears a society on fire for the Lord so he seeks to destroy them before they grow up to make a difference.
