According to the reporting, Netanyahu reassured MBZ that Israel was prepared and believed a potential attack was more likely to come from the West Bank. AP subsequently reported the allegations, while the Times of Israel reported that an Emirati source familiar with the conversation confirmed that the warning call occurred. Netanyahu categorically denies receiving the warning and says the alleged conversation never happened.
