*Invitation for Supervisors to Host Postdoctoral Candidates* The Faculty of Business, Economics and Accountancy is pleased to invite academic staff members who are interested in hosting a Postdoctoral Candidate to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI). This initiative is intended to strengthen the faculty’s research capacity, expand interdisciplinary collaboration, and support high-impact research activities within the faculty. Supervisors who wish to host a postdoctoral candidate must fulfil all of the eligibility requirements outlined below. *Supervisor Eligibility Requirements* Interested supervisors must comply with ALL of the following criteria: 1. Active Research Grant The supervisor must be the Head of a research project with a minimum research funding of RM100,000.00. 2. Priority for Externally Funded Projects Priority will be given to supervisors leading research projects supported by external funding, including but not limited to: • Private/Industry funding • International grants • MOSTI • Ministry of Higher Education / Ministry of Education 3. Supervision Experience The supervisor must have prior experience serving as the Main Supervisor for Ph.D. students. 4. Active Postgraduate Supervision The supervisor must currently have at least one Master’s or Ph.D. student throughout the duration of the appointment as a Postdoctoral Supervisor. In addition, the proposed Postdoctoral Researcher should contribute to a research area that complements or strengthens the faculty’s existing expertise, particularly in areas where the university/faculty seeks further development. *Purpose of the Appointment* The appointment of a postdoctoral candidate is intended to: • Enhance the faculty’s research output and publication performance • Strengthen strategic research niches • Support postgraduate supervision and research activities • Promote collaboration in emerging or specialised areas of expertist *Submission of Expression of Interest (EOI)* Academic staff who meet the above requirements and are interested in hosting a postdoctoral candidate are invited to submit the following: • Name and staff ID • Department / Research Centre • Title of active research grant/project • Grant amount • Grant source • Duration of grant • List of current postgraduate students under supervision • Brief justification for hosting a postdoctoral candidate • Proposed research area/topic for the Postdoctoral Candidate.
