Time of interview: 45 minutes CHAIRMAN SIR: 1. Have we met before? 2. Why do you want to join civil services? Sir stopped me in between and asked to not say anything which coaching institutes have made me to say, he said he wanted a true reason. Also, gave me water to drink. Then I said the same reason because it was a true one, but added one extra line to give him respect. 3. You are from bundelkhand, so tell me about forests of bundelkhand. 4. What type of forests are found in Himalayas? 5. What is tree line? 6. Tell me some environmental movements which have changed Indian forest policies and laws. 7. What changes were brought after chipko movement? 8. With increasing issues of climate change, do you think it is right time to transfer forest subject from concurrent list to union list. 9. Suppose you are PCCF in UP, how will you promote ecotourism? Also tell me what will be potential areas to promote it? 10. What percentage of India's area and UP's area is forest cover? 11. I have read that in UP, forest cover is something else, are you sure?( He was giving the data of forest and tree cover combined) 12. Have you visited any forest area? 13. Recite it( I drank water and then recited Harivansh Rai Bachchan Ji's poem, Jo beet gayi so baat gayi) MEMBER 3: 1. What is metallurgical and materials engineering? 2. What is it's use in forestry? 3. What is UP's target of forest cover? 4. What is global warming? 5. How you as a forest officer can fight it? 6. What is community forest management? MEMBER 2: What is difference between community forest management and joint forest management? CHAIRMAN SIR: 1. In how many phases elections are occurring? 2. In UP how many phases? 3. How many phases already happened? 4. Which part of UP have already faced elections? 5. Why low voter's turnout? 6. Should there be one nation one election? 7. Should election schedule have been two months long? 8. What would you have done if you were chief election commissioner? 9. What are advantages of one nation one election? MEMBER 3: Is it practically posible holding one nation one election? MEMBER 2: What you are telling has no relationship with holding one nation one election. CHAIRMAN SIR: "No, actually there is a relation in his point. I understood what he is saying". Then he made the member understand about how my point was related to holding one nation one election in a practical manner. Tell me what gives you happiness? MEMBER 2: Do you want to join politics? CHAIRMAN: 1. Why youth is less attracted towards politcs? 2. Should there be a competitive exam for entering into politics? 3. What reforms should be there then to promote youth entering politics?
