૧૦મી જુલાઈના દિવસે સ્વામીશ્રી સાંસ્કૃતિક નગર – સી.એફ.આઈ. ની મુલાકાતે પધારેલા. બળદગાડામાં બિરાજેલ ભગવાન સ્વામિનારાયણની મૂર્તિનાં દર્શન બાદ પૂ. મહંતસ્વામીની વિનંતીથી સ્વામીશ્રી કાર્ટમાં સહેજ ગાદીમાં બિરાજ્યા. પ્રગટ અક્ષરપુરુષોત્તમ સંગાથેનું દર્શન સૌને મળી ગયું!.

On July 10, Swamishri went to the CFI grounds to see the preparations. After doing darshan of the life size rendition of Bhagwan Swaminarayan sitting in a bullock cart, Mahant Swami requested Swamishri to sit in it. Swamishri obliged and sat with Thakorji - Pragat Akshar and Purushottam gave darshan in a cart!.

એક મહિનાં સુધી ચાલનારો સાંસ્કૃતિક ઉત્સવ “કલ્ચરલ ફેસ્ટિવલ ઑફ ઇન્ડિયા” નું કારણ બની એડિસનને ધન્ય! મિડલસેક્સ કાઉન્ટી કોલેજ ખાતે જુલાઈ ૧૨ના મધ્યાહ્ને આ ઉત્સવનું ઉદ્ઘાટન સ્વામિશ્રીએ વિશિષ્ટ મહેમાનોની સાથે કર્યું. શ્વેત કબૂતરોને આકાશમાં ઉડાડવાના કાર્યક્રમમાં સ્વામિશ્રીના જમણા હાથ ઉપર બેઠેલા કબૂતરે ન ઉડવાની હઠ સાથે, હાથ ઉપર જ સ્થાન લઈ લીધું. કારણ તેને પણ ખબર હતી કે શાંતિનું પરમ મહેરું ક્યાં છે! ઘણા પ્રયત્નો છતાં સ્વામિશ્રીની વિનંતીથી ઊડ્યું ખરું, પરંતુ સ્ટેજની પાછળના ભાગ પર જ ફરી બેસી ગયું.

Edison had the fortune of hosting the Cultural Festival of India in the presence of Swamishri for one month at Middlesex County College. During the opening ceremony on July 12, Swamishri along with many special guests released fifty white doves into the open skies. However, the dove sitting in Swamishri’s right hand did not fly away and kept returning. Everyone present was amazed. Even the dove, a symbol of peace, knew that true peace is found near Swamishri.

સ્વામિશ્રીના વિદાય બાદ પૂ. મહંતસ્વામીએ અનેરો સત્સંગ સેવાનો માટે સમય આપ્યો, તન, મન, ધનથી સેવાનો આહ્વાન કરી દેવ સર્વે કાર્યકરોને તૈયાર કરવામાં અગત્યનું કાર્ય ઉપાડ્યું.

After Swamishri left America in 1990, Mahant Swami stayed back to help with the planning efforts for CFI. He spoke to the volunteers about giving their time and doing seva mentally, physically, and financially. In this way, he took on the responsibility of inspiring all the volunteers..

Today, on the sacred occasion of Pramukh Varni Din, we remember the day when Shastriji Maharaj appointed the young Shastri Narayanswarupdasji (Pramukh Swami Maharaj) as the Pramukh of BAPS at just 28 years old.

His life teaches us the values of humility, seva, obedience, and unwavering devotion to Bhagwan and Guru. Through his countless sacrifices, love, and guidance, he inspired millions around the world to live a life of faith and service.

એડિસનમાં વેરહાઉસ અને જમીન માટે અમેરિકી ખાતાનું પોતાનું વિચરણ લંબાવીને, વ્યક્તિગત ફોન દ્વારા, તથા એડિસનમાં સેવાની માંગણી કરતાં સ્વામિશ્રીએ અખૂટ અનુવૃત્તિ બતાવી. તેમની જ પ્રેરણાથી પરોક્ષ અને પ્રત્યક્ષ, બંને પક્ષના વકીલો જેમકે યહૂદી અને ક્રિશ્ચિયન ધર્મના હતા તેમણે પણ આ સેવાનો લાભ લીધો.

Swamishri decided to extend his trip by a week in 1990 to raise funds for the land and warehouse in Edison. Swamishri, without hesitation, would call devotees or meet them in person for their support. Through his inspiration, even the attorneys for both sides, being of Jewish and Christian faiths respectively, took this opportunity to serve the mandir.

જુલાઈ ૯નો દિવસ એડિસનના ભક્તો માટે સોનેરો દિવસ હતો. આ દિવસે સ્વામિશ્રી ૨૫૦૦, વુડબ્રિજ એવન્યુ ઉપર આવેલા આ વેરહાઉસે જોવા પધાર્યા અને આ જગ્યા લઈ લેવાની આજ્ઞા કરી. સંતો-અને હરિભક્તોએ સામેથી આવીને ફૂલ વર્ષાવી કરી અને તે દિવસમાં અહીં સુંદર મંદિર થશે તેવી આશીર્વાદ સ્વામિશ્રીએ ઉચ્ચારી. એડિસનમાં જજમા લીધી છે તેવી વાત વિચરણના અહેવાલમાં જણાવતાં સ્વામિશ્રી સ્વ-હસ્તાક્ષરમાં લખે છે. “ન્યુજર્સીમાં છ એકર જમીન લીધી છે, એટલે અહીં પણ સત્સંગ છે તે હવે વધશે તો સર્વે રાજી રહેજો....” સત્સંગ વધશે તે વિશે સ્વામિશ્રીએ આશીર્વાદ આપ્યા!

July 9 (1990) was a very special day for the devotees of Edison, NJ. On this day, Swamishri came to visit a warehouse on 2500 Woodbridge Avenue and gave instructions to purchase this land. He himself showered flower petals around the site and gave blessings that this site will one day be a majestic mandir. In his travel reports, Swamishri himself writes, “A six-acre piece of land in New Jersey has been purchased. Because of this, the present satsang will grow. May you all remain happy.” With these words, Swamishri prophesied the growth of satsang in New Jersey.
