I couldn't share yesterday but there are two people who have influenced me immensely. I consider them my mentors. The first one was my CIVILS mentor who made a huge impact on my life. The career that I have today is because of him. He was my teacher, my guru, my pillar of strength.
The other person is someone who was my superior in my previous workplace. I admired the way she carried herself. Her way of working and leading, a woman of power. I left the workplace but the lessons that I learnt from her have shaped the person that I am today.
Happy Belated Teachers' Day to the two most important influencers in my life.
I will always be grateful for your patience and support.

We live miles apart, and interestingly, we have never even met or seen each other in person. Yet, the bond created through this platform feels like an invisible thread that has connected so many of us in ways we probably never imagined.
Through your words, your guidance, and the way you have contributed to this community, I feel you must be an amazing woman. Beyond being a mentor, you seem like a capable leader, an enthusiastic person, and someone who genuinely believes in helping others grow. The impact you create may not always be visible, but I’m sure it has touched many lives in this community.
So, to this wonderful lady who has given so much of her time, energy, and wisdom to this community, wishing you a very Happy Teacher’s Day, ma’am. 🌻

| 11 | People rarely discover your boundaries because you explain them.
They discover them when they cross one.
And what happens next teaches them how seriously to take you.
This is where most people lose power. 🧵
Someone violates a boundary.
You dislike it.
But instead of imposing a consequence, you explain:
“I really don't appreciate when you do that.”
They apologize.
Then they do it again.
Why?
Because you communicated displeasure.
Not cost.
A boundary without consequence is merely a preference.
If crossing it changes nothing—
access remains the same,
your cooperation remains the same,
your availability remains the same—
the other person learns something important:
Your words are negotiable.
This does not mean responding aggressively.
In fact, aggression often weakens the position.
The strongest consequence is usually quiet.
Less access.
Less cooperation.
Less information.
A changed agreement.
A willingness to leave.
Powerful boundaries alter reality instead of arguing about it.
Watch what happens when someone genuinely possesses alternatives.
They don't need twenty-minute speeches about respect.
They simply stop participating in arrangements that repeatedly disadvantage them.
That is why optionality and boundaries are connected.
You can enforce far more when you are genuinely willing to lose something.
This applies everywhere.
At work:
What happens when commitments made to you are repeatedly broken?
In relationships:
What happens when disrespect repeats?
In business:
What happens when a client ignores agreed terms?
Your real boundary is not what you said.
It is what your behavior permits.
The uncomfortable audit:
Look at the people closest to you.
What have you repeatedly told them not to do—
while repeatedly showing them there is no meaningful consequence for doing it?
That pattern reveals your actual position far more accurately than anything you have said.
Power is often misunderstood as domination.
Sometimes it is considerably simpler:

She is also the first woman officer from the Tri-Services to command a Sainik School, serving as Principal of Sainik School, Kapurthala.
In the Army and Navy, women officers so far have reached the rank of Colonel and equivalent.
In 2023, the Air Force selected Group Captain Shaliza Dhami to take command of a frontline combat unit, making her the first woman officer in the IAF to command a missile squadron in the western sector facing Pakistan.
Last month, Squadron Leader Bhawana Kanth became the first woman pilot to clear the Fighter Combat Leader (FCL) course at the Tactics and Air Combat Development Establishment in Gwalior.
In May 2026, Squadron Leader Saanya became the first woman officer in the Indian Air Force to earn the elite Category-A Qualified Flying Instructor (Cat-A QFI) qualification.

There is a wall inside the heart where pain keeps settling
layer upon layer, like moss in an old, forgotten place.
We do not scrape it away. Perhaps we cannot.
We simply learn to live beside it, to touch the wall sometimes
and remember what happened.
And then, one morning, from some small crack
we had almost forgotten, a tiny green sprout appears.
Nothing grand. No miracle announced.
Just a little life rising through the weight
of all that has been.
And strangely, we smile.
For a moment the old wall does not feel so heavy.
Perhaps this is what life is...
not the absence of pain, but the small, stubborn things
that bloom through it.
A hand held.
A little kindness.
A flower opening where nothing was expected to grow.
The moss remains. The wall remains.
But so does the sprout.
And perhaps that is enough to make us stay.

On August 26, 2026, Rajendra Dawadi, principal of Tribhuvan Trishuli Secondary School in Nepal, received an urgent warning that a catastrophic flash flood was rushing toward the Trishuli Valley.
He didn’t wait.
Dawadi rang the school bell, ordered classrooms evacuated, called school bus drivers to turn back, and led students uphill toward higher ground.
Minutes later, floodwaters swept through the area and destroyed the school buildings.
All 1,643 students escaped. Not a single child was swept away from the school. Some students and staff were stranded on higher ground for days afterward, but they had escaped the immediate disaster.
Tragically, two school employees were later reported killed after separately returning toward the flood zone. The wider disaster has devastated Nepal and Tibet, with hundreds killed and thousands still missing. | 190 |
