وَعَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ اَلْأَنْصَارِيِّ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-قَالَ: { مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ, ثُمَّ أَتْبَعَهُ سِتًّا مِنْ شَوَّالٍ كَانَ كَصِيَامِ اَلدَّهْرِ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ 1‏ .‏ ‏1 ‏- صحيح.‏ رواه مسلم ( 1164 )‏.‏ Abu Aiyub Al-Ansari (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever fasts during the month of Ramadan and then follows it with six days of Shawwal will be (rewarded) as if he had fasted the entire year." Related by Muslim. Bulugh al-Maram

The Prophet ﷺ loved optimism. (Bukharī: Book of Medicine) The optimistic person: 1. Has good thoughts about Allāh 2. Places their trust in Him 3. Is patient with His Decree 4. Has righteous & positive friends 5. Uses good words 6. Frequents positive places (eg. Masjid)

The virtue of sending ṣalāh (supplications for peace) upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday begins from sunset on the night of Jumuʿah (Thursday night) and finishes at sunset on the night of Saturday (Friday night). Moreover, sending ṣalāh upon him during the day of Friday is better than during its night (Thursday night). تفضيل الصلاة على النبي ﷺ في الجمعة يبدأ من غروب الشمس ليلة الجمعة وينتهي بغروبها ليلة السبت، والصلاة عليه ﷺ في نهار الجمعة أفضل من ليلها إنَّ اللهَ وملائكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ على النَّبي يا أَيُّها الذِّين آمَنوا صَلُّوا عَلَيهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيما ً Don't forget to send Salutations on Prophet ﷺ

What do you do when ur faced with two opposing choices: one that you desire more than anything, and one that you know Allah would love? Well, you turn to Allah and say: "My Lord, allow me to choose what You love instead of what I desire."🍂 And then you weep over what you decide to sacrifice for His sake. It feels like a great loss, doesn't it? A few moments after you utter your dua, it doesn't feel complete. You might take a moment to recalibrate and say, "And after today, my Lord, allow me to love what You love, so the choice is not this difficult." That's what you want: a deeper level of attachment to your Creator so that you love what He loves, and abstain from what He dislikes. Allah (swt) says in a Hadith Qudsi: "My slave approaches Me with nothing more beloved to Me than what I have made obligatory upon him, and My slave keeps drawing nearer to Me with voluntary works until I love him. And when I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he seizes, and his foot with which he walks..." So you ask Him: "Love me until You are the hearing with which I hear, the sight with which I see, the hand with which I seize, and the foot with which I walk." You want basira, an enlightened sight that goes beyond the physical. You might call it by a different name, maybe a "gut feeling" or "intuition." Your Creator guides you towards what is best through your own emotions, through a pull inside of you that you can't quite explain. SIDE NOTE: There is beauty in doing what's right without struggling.But there is also a deep complicated beauty in doing what can feel like being torn in two, in doing the opposite of what your heart and body desperately call you towards when it's something disliked by your Creator. And despite what you've thought your whole life, it is not a peaceful process. It is a battle. You make a home in a field of fighting that leaves jagged scars all over your spirit. But you know the wounds are where light enters. This struggle, as much as it aches in your bones, is beautiful. And you, imperfect as you may be, are made beautiful for trying. #Reminder #chooseAllah @unitefordeen

"The closer you get to Allāh, the more humble you become and then you begin to realize your shortcomings and mistakes. The best, most pious of our Salaf never had that arrogant way of thinking. They never said, "look at us, our days and nights are spent in between Da'wah and 'Ibādāh". They used to say something much different than that. They said, "if our faults became apparent, no one would even give salām upon us" Al-Imām Al-Qahtāni al-Andalūsī, in his famous poem, he said: “والله لو علموا قبيح سريرتي *** لأبـــى الســلام علي من يلقاني "If they know me internally, they wouldn’t even give salām to me when they see me. ولأعرضوا عني وملّوا صحبتي *** ولبــؤت بـــعــد كـرامـة بــهــوان They would turn away from me. After all the dignity and respect I have, I would be in shame. " Just like Allāh سبحانه وتعالى veiled us with clothes from His mercy, He veiled our sins and faults from exposure." @unitefordeen

Do Not Rush Your Salāh Sayyiduna ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنه once saw a youngster performing a prolonged Salāh. He asked, ‘Who knows this person?' A man replied, ‘I know him’. ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنه then said, ‘Had I known him, I would have ordered him to lengthen his rukū’ and sajdah [as well], for I have heard Nabi صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم say, "When a servant stands up to offer Salāh, his sins are brought and placed on his head or shoulders. Each time he bows in rukū’ or prostrates his sins fall off’ (Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Ḥibbān 1734; as-Sunnah Al-Kubrā of Imām Bayḥaqī vol. 3 pg. 10.; Al Muhaddhab of Al-Ḥāfiẓ adh-Dhahabī: 4165)
