Q: I’ve read your recent replies about waking up others. It makes sense, but I still can’t seem to let go of trying though I think I should. Any suggestions?
A: There’s a storm brewing, we feel this so thoroughly. At some point we may have to step away from those who do not want shelter from it. You may not feel like that though. You may feel the need to reach as many as possible until the very end. If that’s the calling God placed before you, then you should pursue it, praying the Holy Spirit goes before you.
What I’m suggesting is if we are feeling exhausted and frustrated perhaps God is trying to get our attention! Because we have the Lord with us, we do not need to force the situation to go the way we think it should, or force people to see things the way we do. If we’re feeling angry, scared, guilty –anything negative, then we know we are stepping outside His boundaries. We absolutely must pray for His help with handing control over our lives (especially our thoughts!) to Him.
You may need to consider a different approach. Perhaps it’s time to turn your attention elsewhere. Maybe you need a break from staying on top of the doomsday news stories. Maybe you need to prepare your home for the hunkering down. Maybe you need to do whatever it takes to strengthen yourself to help others during the storm.
And after it passes.
I realized that devoting myself to waking others who do not wish to be awakened was swindling sweet, irreplaceable time from being fully engaged with my family. I understand that I can no longer wake up those in my sphere of influence who do not ask for it, appreciate it or want it. I continue to pray for God to stir them, of course. And I pray for God to prepare me for the aftermath. Perhaps at that point we will all truly be in this together. Curiously, there seems to be some comfort in that thought.

Q: It’s getting so bad out there… hard to see the good but I’m trying… I pray, but is that enough?
A: Yes! Prayer is everything, and it is absolutely the true weapon Believers have in this spiritual war. Remember: those moments that despair blankets and hope is quieted, are the circumstances that call down heaven-led miracles when we pray!
There’s something that really awed me about the Red Sea crossing -a heavenly miracle for the Israelites, and an earthly judgement of the Egyptians: it was a physical manifestation of the victorious outcome in the spiritual realm!
In the unseen world, judgement has already been declared and God’s victory is realized. We are just waiting on this fulfillment to be seen in the earthly world. So take heart! It’s not God wins (yet to happen); it’s God won (it’s already happened). How exciting (and humbling) that we’ve been called to bear witness for such a time as this!
No matter how disastrous it looks in the rearview, no matter how unknown it looks ahead, no matter how our hearts grieve, no matter what –trust God.
Are there other things we are called to do? Absolutely. Keep sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Love others. Be devoted to your family. Put away supplies. Pursue the beautiful things God has given us.
If we’re grieving, if we’re angry, if we’re shaken, it can feel strange to give in to a lighthearted moment. Yet, the human experience tells us that we can understand sadness and joy at the same time; that not everything, including our emotions, can be so easily compartmentalized. Humans are capable of focusing on more than one thing at a time. It’s what allows us to discover, mature, thrive and love.
We ought not feel guilty for laughing while bad things are happening in the world. Sometimes we’re not in the frame of mind where we want to see the humor. Understandable. Some of us are going through the hardest moments of our lives.
However, if we get to a point where we refuse ourselves the benefit of laughing, of finding joy, or just simply smiling, we could be moving towards an unhealthy outlook.
No, we cannot ignore sorrow and we cannot run from it, but perhaps we cannot rationalize it either. That is, we cannot embrace sorrow over living and loving. After all, good things are still happening.
This is the perspective that we all need: hope, which allows us to keep the good things in mind when we’re walking through the worst of things. This hope allows us to smile and laugh, and take pleasure in other people’s joy.
Enjoy life’s gifts. Bask in His hope.

I found that the next few questions I'll be sharing were addressed here and there already so I am applying some of my previous writings, with some edits. Hope the Q&A posts have been helpful! 🙂

Repost from Shannon Guerra
Word for someone tonight:
You might think it’s going to take too long, so you shouldn’t even try.
You might think you’re running out of time, or that you’re too late, or that the project is too big — that it’s meant for other people who do big things.
But if God is calling you to it, you are one of those people who do big things, too. You just don’t see it yet.
It takes millions of stitches to make a blanket. Lots of time. Plenty of ripping out and starting over. But they only get done by doing…and they DO get done.
So get started. Do that first step.
Maybe the first step is just asking more questions, getting more clarity, and creating a plan. If it is, start with that.
But don’t stay there. As soon as you have that first step, obedience is calling — and you want the reward on the other side of it.

Sooooooooooooooooo...
In the wee hours I noticed my comments were gone. All those captures I did for the Trump rallies? Gone. All those funnies for Wednesday? Gone. Some replies to others? Gone.
Over the last year I noticed comments I made on older posts had disappeared -random, mind you, so I just thought it was a timer thingy with Telegram. Yesterday, I replied to someone then within the hour it disappeared. I re-replied and it's there now, but other comments? Gone.
I don't know what's happening, and why, and how to resolve it.
Now I feel a little bad that some of y'all may have never seen my responses to you 😢 I'm pretty ticked that all my hard work of trying to capture what Trump says at the rallies is gone 😠
But, I'm super ticked the funny memes are gone 😡😡 The first rule of Wednesday Comedy is you don't mess with Wednesday Comedy.
Maybe Telegram got tired of all my lame cookie jokes and bad spelling. Touché, Telegram.
And game on. I have plenty of dorky commentary and derp, derp to share.
After I eat some comfort cookies.
