Hello Everyone, Within the past week I went to open my ANZ banking app on my phone and also on my browser via the computer. On both devices a notification came up about the new Terms & Conditions I had to accept in order to gain access my accounts. These new T&Cs included collecting ‘behavioural information’ like typing speed, browsing patterns, scrolling and swiping activities. There was no OPT-OUT button to ‘decline’ only ‘accept’. When I called the bank to say ‘I will not accept these new T&Cs’ and wanted access to my accounts & my money ANZ said ‘that these were the new T&Cs and I had to accept them to be able to access my accounts otherwise you’ll need to make an appointment at the bank to gain any access. In other words there is NO option to OPT OUT or decline. I will NOT be agreeing to ANZ collecting and storing ‘behavioural information’ on any personal profile & I will be going into the bank and closing my accounts with them this week!! If you are concerned about this also I’d be asking questions and be diligent in knowing what you are agreeing to by clicking ‘accept’ via online T&Cs from any major corporation going forward. Lastly ANZ, CBA & Mastercard have just signed on to be the first ‘test pilot’ banks for the CBDC (central bank digital currency) in Australia… might want to consider changing banks too…. In no way is this an attack on people who may be struggling with their sexuality or gender dysphoria. This is a statement how corporations and professional activist groups have hijacked a sensitive issue.
