🔭Altcoin Season on the Horizon? Many altcoins are starting to outperform BTC in the short and medium term! The Altcoin Season Index measures the percentage of altcoins outperforming or underperforming Bitcoin based on selected parameters. When analyzing the performance of altcoins over the last 60 days, the metric indicates that it is moving out of the lower region, known as the "Bitcoin Season." Historically, when this metric rises, it signals that altcoins are beginning to outperform BTC. In the short term, using a 4-hour timeframe and a period of 30 (covering the last 120 hours), the data shows that altcoins have been significantly outperforming Bitcoin. This leads to the conclusion that even if BTC rises or falls, many altcoins are unlikely to follow with the same intensity, creating resistance in Bitcoin's dominance over time. This scenario presents a potential opportunity to diversify portfolios by gradually reducing BTC exposure and speculating on altcoins. These assets, currently at lower price levels, offer a promising risk-reward ratio.
