The Huawei ICT Competition is an annual global event designed for students and teachers from colleges and universities. It offers an international platform for competition and exchange, enabling participants to strengthen their ICT knowledge, improve practical skills, and foster innovation using the latest technologies and platforms.

Competition Rules
1. Preliminary and National Stage (Team score based on individual scores):
Students of Huawei ICT academies or universities that are willing to become a Huawei ICT Academy shall register as university students.
Contestants must have available PCs and Internet access.
Each contestant can participate in either the Practice Competition or the Innovation Competition (i.e. those who participate in the Practice Competition shall not participate in the Innovation Competition; in the Practice Competition, those who participate in the Network Track shall not participate in the Cloud Track.)
Competitors that have taken part in the Global Stage and won Grand Prize in previous years cannot participate in the same track again.
2.Regional Stage (Team competition):
Regional Stage is a team competition. A team must include 3 students and 1 instructor.
3.Global Stage (Team competition):
The Global Stage is a team competition, and the participating teams are promoted by Regional Stage.

We are pleased to inform you that registration for the Global Consumer Intelligence (GCI) Program 2026 is now officially open.
GCI is an international educational program organized by Matsuo-Iwasawa Lab UTokyo, focusing on AI, data science, and their practical applications in business and aiming to nurture future leaders who can bridge technology, innovation, and society. This will be the third program of the GCI World Program, and more than 35,000 students have joined the program.
Program highlights for your students:
Curriculum: A comprehensive online course covering Python, AI, and Data-Driven Marketing Strategy. Students will be learning the content through hands-on projects and Kaggle-style competitions.
Length: 3 months (9/17 to 12/17)
Format: online with some in-person sessions at the school with a large number of participants + high retention rate
Cost: Free of charge for all students.
Certificate: Students receive a certificate of completion from the Matsuo-Iwasawa Laboratory, the University of Tokyo.
Global opportunity: Top-performing students are invited to Tokyo, Japan for a fully sponsored campus tour and research exchange. Students who complete the program will be given continuous learning opportunities within our lab as well.
