π΄ GIFT NIFTY traded 15 points lower at 21,634 signalling that the Indian stock market is headed for a negative start today.
π΄ Wall Street's key indices. S&P 500 and NASDAQ declined by 1.37% and 1.79% respectively. The Dow Jones Industrial Average experiences its largest single-day percentage decline in nearly 11 months, ended at 1.36% down. The fall is a result of sudden rise in consumer inflation which grew 0.3% more than expected.
π΄ India VIX declined by 1.59% to the levels of 15.81, indicating a slight change and yet the volatility lingers above the crucial threshold level.
