3⃣ Things That Will Decide The Market Today📈
🔴 GIFT NIFTY traded 25 points higher at 21,479.50 signaling that the Indian stock market is headed for a positive start today.
🔴 All three major U.S stock indexes oscillated for much of the session, but by closing bell the S&P 500 was nominally lower, the Dow was modestly higher and interest rate-sensitive tech- and tech-adjacent momentum stocks put the Nasdaq out front.
🔴 India VIX was up by 6.55% to the levels of 13.13. The spurge in the volatility index comes as markets reach all time highs and heavy buying from the FIIs.
3️⃣ Things That Will Decide The Market Today 📈
🔴 GIFT NIFTY traded 7 points higher at 21, 119 signalling that the Indian stock market is headed for a positive start today.
🔴 On Tuesday, the S&P 500 rose by 0.23% amid mixed earnings reports. Investors focused on Federal Reserve remarks about potential interest rate adjustments. Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari noted ongoing concerns about inflation, which, though decreased, still hovered around the Fed's 2% target. The Dow Jones closed up by 0.37%, and the Nasdaq by 0.07%.
🔴 India VIX jumped by 1.07% to the levels of 15.68. Volatility lingered above crucial levels indicating shifts in the index movement.
