Biography
Dr. Alvin Ng graduated with a Doctor of Psychology degree from Murdoch University, Australia. He was also a Jeffrey Cheah Scholar-in-Residence at the University of Oxford’s Brasenose College in 2024.
He is currently a Professor at the School of Psychology at Sunway University. He previously led the Master of Clinical Psychology programme at UKM from 2003-2012. He is the Founding President of the Malaysia Society of Clinical Psychology which he established in 2010. He has also served as the Secretary of the Asian Cognitive Behavioral Therapies Association twice. He has a keen interest in contributing to the development of mental health literacy in Malaysia; he has given over 400 talks at both professional and public events and is the author for the book titled, “Happiness”. | 85 |
