Naseer Abu Thabet, director of the Settlement Observatory, warned that the situation in the occupied West Bank has taken a dangerous turn.
He said settler attacks are no longer occasional, but have become more organized, violent, and directly aimed at Palestinians. He shared troubling statistics: since the start of 2026, settlers have killed about 16 Palestinians, already more than the 15 killed in all of 2025.
He stated, "This timeframe reveals a dangerous trend; it is no longer just random attacks, but rather a systematic escalation that is growing at an unprecedented and accelerating rate."
