Proverbs 30:24-25
There are four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise: The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their food in the summer.
In the wisdom of the ants in discerning times and the season of life and doing the right thing, we would another law of success at work, which is simply the law of discipline. This law implies that you are governed and you are not leaving your life to chance. To be disciplined is to operate by schedules and capacity to work without supervision. It takes a disciplined life to follow routine and to keep priorities in their place. Life without discipline is simply unintentional living. In order to live beyond irregular accidental posture to issues of life, you must be disciplined.
In Proverbs 6:6-8, "Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Who having no *GUIDE, OVERSEER, or RULER*, Provides her food in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest". The emphasis on the ants not having a guide, overseer, or ruler implies that they function without supervision. It takes discipline to function consistently without supervision. It takes a life that is self governed to function without supervision. The law of discipline is one of the major lessons that we deduced from the ants. Dear saints, I pray that you will maximize your life through a deliberate life of discipline in the name of Jesus. Amen.

There are four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise: The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their food in the summer.
As we continue to meditate on scriptures concerning the ants, we will see further laws within the framework of the ants discerning times and seasons and their response, which prepares them two seasons ahead of the winter. The third obvious law of success hidden in the wisdom of the ants is the law of concentration. This relates to the ants engaging the work of storing their food in summer. This is executed with a high measure of concentration. In order to achieve goals or to be truly successful in any endeavour, this law is basic.
We need the law of concentration in order to accomplish whatever we are doing properly. In applying this to our lives, we would glean from the words of Paul who says it this way "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. (Philippians 3:13). Paul is able to accomplish goals of life and is also able to forge ahead beyond premature success due to the law of concentration. This law enhances a life of total devotion to a cause in the right season of life. No one excels in being here and there. The law of concentration empowers us with an unbroken focus in all that we do. The ants have one priority in summer, amongst others, which is to store food two seasons ahead of winter. Dear saints, may you be blessed with sight and empowered with unbroken sight in all that you do in the name of Jesus. Amen.

There are four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise: The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their food in the summer.
In the wisdom of the ants in discerning times and seasons of life. In our meditation, we looked at the law of preparation, which is one of the obvious laws of success hidden in the wisdom of the ants. The second law of success that is hidden in the wisdom of the ants is the law of teamwork. Embedded in teamwork is achieving success through the principle of unity. It is difficult for a team without unity to embark on any successful project. The ants properly harness the power of teamwork. Dear saints, true and enduring success is usually beyond solo effort.
Proverbs 30:25a says, "The ants are a people." In that phrase, we see the power of teamwork as operated by the colony of ants. You will likely have seen the colony of ants move food. You will likely have seen them move dead insect that are bigger than them.You will see them move things heavier than them. The synergy of energy through teamwork is a primary secret to moving things bigger and heavier than them. This wisdom here indicates that we all can achieve more in life through the collective power of a team. Ants do not usually work alone. You are not to work as loner throughout your life. Dear saints, my prayer is that you would be blessed with a true community where you have people with an understanding of the law of teamwork and not a crab mentality in the name of Jesus. Amen.

There are four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise: The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their food in the summer.
In the wisdom of the ants discerning, the times and seasons of life are hidden, seven obvious laws of success. The first is the obvious law of preparation. Achievers understand the importance of the law of preparation in all aspects of life. Understanding the law of preparation strengthens you to endure hardness today in the place of training, apprenticeship, and labour in seedtime so that you may receive and gather a harvest. One of the secrets of might is in the law of preparation. In 2 Chronicles 27:6, "So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the LORD his God." King Jotham, according to scriptures, became mighty because of his underlying lifestyle of preparing his ways before the LORD.
The ordered life, which is vital to becoming successful in any aspect of life, is connected to the law of preparation. The book of Proverbs gives us an example between preparation and the ordered life. In Proverbs 24:27, It says: "Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house."This is simply about the preparation and ordered life of building your work ( career, business, calling, etc) before building your house. May our understanding capture accurately the lesson of the law of preparation from the ants in the name of Jesus. Amen.

There are four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise: The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their food in the summer.
The ants teach us to discern the times and seasons of our lives. We are also taught on a general expression, being prepared today for the future in diverse areas of life. Likewise, we could draw lessons on being prepared for emergencies of life. The summer season is two seasons ahead of the winter seasons. The ants prepare two seasons ahead towards the winter. One of the issues of life is the carelessness of living unprepared for the future. Your lifestyle today will impact your future. Your nature today will impact your future.
There are many who desire several things in their future whose lifestyle today will not lead to the desired future. It is important to prepare for diverse areas of expectation in our future by living correctly today. The ants are not a busy body, but minding their own business, they prepare for winter in summer. For instance, there are many who desire financial freedom who are not taking heed today to their lives in a way that they will come into the expected financial freedom. So, a vital lesson in discerning seasons found in the ants relates to preparing today for tomorrow. The wisdom of Joseph in relation to saving twenty percent of the produce in Egypt in the season of abundance helped them in the season of famine. They were helped such that they did not lack and they became succorers to people in need in the season of famine. Dear saints, may we discern the diverse seasons in our lives and respond accurately in these seasons in the name of Jesus. Amen.

There are four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise: The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their food in the summer.
The ants, though small in size, display wisdom captured in the book of Proverbs. In fact, in Proverbs 6:6, the sluggard, slothful, or lazy person was advised to go and learn wisdom from the ants; *"Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise."* The first wisdom that we may glean from the ants is related discerning the times and seasons of life. In Proverbs 30:25, "The ants are a people not strong, yet they PREPARE their FOOD in the SUMMER."
Ants prepare for the winter season in summer. Likewise, Proverbs 6:8 captures this truth, "Provides her food in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest." The ants are proactive to store food in summer. The seasons of man's life may be described by the general outlook to seasons that speak of the spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The ants are cold-blooded. Hence, they hibernate during the winter season in order to avoid freezing temperatures. The warmer temperature in summer enhances the productivity of the ants. The summer of life for us may be described as times of productivity or the day times of life. However, the winter seasons may be described as the nighttime of life. In John 9:4, Jesus said, "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work." Dear saint, the lesson here is to discern the times and season of your life and live in wisdom of productivity in the daytime of life so that you will not lack in the nighttime of life. May we discern the seasons of our lives accurately and live correctly in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Learn From the Ants (Part 1)
Proverbs 30:24-25
24 There are four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise: The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their food in the summer.
The book of Proverbs is a beautiful book in scriptures that contains the words of Solomon the son of David (Proverbs 1:1, 10:1), the words of the wise (Proverbs 22:17), the proverbs of Solomon copied by men of Hezekiah, King of Judah (Proverbs 25:1), the words of Agur the son of Jakeh (Proverbs 30:1), and the words of King Lemuel (Proverbs 31:1). This book of scriptures is rich with wisdom for our lives. Our meditation in the next few days will be from this beautiful book. We are looking at the words of Agur in Proverbs 30:24-25 and the words of Solomon about the Ants in Proverbs 6:6-8. However, the first thing I want to bring to our attention before drawing lessons from the Ants is that God speaks through creation.
When men like Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob walked with God, they had no Bible. Yet God spoke to them through diversity of ways of which creation is a major expression of God speaking to them. God spoke to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, painting pictures from creation that their seed will be like DUST OF THE EARTH, SAND BY THE SEA SHORE, AND STARS OF HEAVEN. This is captured in Romans 1:20 (KJV 2000), "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and deity; so that they are without excuse." Another version of scriptures (Rom 1:20, 20cNT) says "For ever since the creation of the universe Godβs invisible attributes β his everlasting power and divinity β are to be seen and studied in his works, so that men have no excuse." Today, we are blessed to know and hear the voice of God through scriptures. Hence, as we meditate to learn from the ants, see this as God speaking to you via scriptures, but captured as the speaking of God to Agur via creation. May our eyes, ears, and heart be opened to capture and understand the voice of God when He speaks in the name of Jesus. Amen.
