MEAT IN DUE SEASON 17/05/2024 The Power of Vision (Part 16) Habakkuk 2:1-3 I will stand upon my watch, and set myself upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, so he may run that reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay. Our disposition to obeying God's voice in running with the vision is vital to finishing strong in the purpose of God. Walking in obedience is the key to experiencing diverse dimensions of the workings of God. In running with the vision in obedience, we are able to demonstrate the nature and stature of Jesus in our spheres of influence. The dimensions of the workings of God in our lives are maximized when we walk in obedience. As we walk in obedience, we experience God working in us, God working through us, God working with us, and God working for us. The strength of our obedience itself is rooted in God working in us and through us as written in scriptures, "For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."(Philippians 2:13). Our yieldedness to the Holy Spirit is critical to see God working with us and for us. In the book of Acts 10:38, this was iterated about Jesus, "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." Jesus our LORD and the pattern Son, anointed by God the Father with the Holy Spirit, yielded Himself to the Father's will. Therefore, God worked with Him, and God worked for Him. Dear Saint, as you yield to the Father's will, may you experience the blessings of God working with you, God working for you, God working in you and God working through you in the name of Jesus. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay. In running with the vision, there is the principle of walking in obedience in all seasons of life. This relates to obedience to God the giver of the vision when it is convenient and when it is not convenient. This dimension of life relates to the priority of pleasing God and living our lives to do His will on a daily basis. When a man with God-given vision walks in disobedience, it affects the vision in diverse ways. Sometimes, the impact of walking in disobedience may be fatal. Living in complete obedience to God is foundational to fulfilling our God-given vision. This also impacts aspects of when the vision goes through a time of turbulence. A major key to transgeneration impact is walking in obedience. In Genesis 22:18, "And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice." This was God's word to Abraham. Dear Saint, by the mercies of God, you will be strengthened in your inner man to daily walk in obedience in the name of Jesus. Amen. MEAT IN DUE SEASON 15/05/2024 The Power of Vision (Part 14) Habakkuk 2:1-3 I will stand upon my watch, and set myself upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, so he may run that reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay. In running with your God-given vision, you must learn the art of planning. Planning is a skill cultivated and required to labour in the direction of the purpose of God for your life. Planning helps you to rise above erractic and spontaneous decision-making. Planning gives you sight to see the bumps on the road to achieving your God-given vision. Planning helps you to know how to navigate these bumps and accomplish that which God has revealed to you. There are many saints who believe they do not need a plan but only to be led by the Spirit. However, it is important to be led by the Holy Spirit and, likewise, not to neglect the vital role of planning in fulfilling our God-given vision. In Proverbs 24:3-4, "Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts. " (TLB). It takes good planning to build anything of significance in the race of life. Good and wise planning are crucial to building a family, business, ministry, etc. Dear saint, the role of wise planning must be taken seriously for you to build your God-given vision according to pattern. In Proverbs 21:5, "The plans of the diligent lead only to plenty, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty"(KJV). Planning will always lead to plenty, prosperity, and abundance. Another translation rendered the verse in this manner, "Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty short cuts leads to poverty." (NLT). Good planning with hard work in the direction of the Holy Spirit leading will always result in prosperity. In a nut shell, good planning is a necessity to sustainable accomplishment of your God-given vision. May you be blessed with the Spirit of counsel to put in place and execute good planning according to the uniqueness of God's pattern for your vision in the name of Jesus. Amen.
