📌On February 17, Cohort ll Community of Practice (CoP) Cascade sessions have been launched across Uzbekistan. More than 350 Regional Peer Mentors (RPMs) conduct CoP sessions with more than 5000 Mentees through April 2023. The weekly CoP sessions serve as a forum where RPMs facilitate meetings with Mentees to enhance each other’s professional development by sharing resources and teaching strategies. 🖇️Prior to starting the CoP sessions, last year RPMs successfully finished 60 hours of a professional development cascading course based on TESOL International Association's The 6 Principles for Exemplary Teaching of English Learners and George Mason University's Teaching English Through English materials. RPMs also successfully took part in online Training of Mentors (ToM) workshops conducted in the beginning of February throughout Uzbekistan to prepare for the RPM- Mentee Cascading sessions. ✨Congratulations on the start of Cohort ll CoP and good luck on the teacher's professional development endeavor!

🎉We are delighted to inform you that more than 5000 Mentees attended Community of Practice sessions conducted by RPMs in various parts of Uzbekistan from October till December 2022. 🖇️The content of CoP sessions was developed based on the TESOL International Association 6 Principles for Exemplary Teaching of English Learners and George Mason University Teaching English Through English materials. The sessions also helped teachers to develop their collaboration skills and ability to provide effective peer feedback. We are extremely proud and grateful to RPMs for their contribution to the ESN program, and for the professional development of the teachers in their own communities. RPM’s diligent work, and unfaltering investment of their time and resources are well-reflected in each Mentee. We appreciate all the dedication and commitment of our RPMs, CTs and Coaches demonstrated during Cohort I CoP sessions. And we are excited to receive the nominations for Cohort II CoP sessions. If you are an RPM who has not nominated any teachers yet, we kindly remind you to submit the nomination list as soon as possible! Thank you! The ESN team
