The Islamic State since the Sydney Attack Editorial, made it clear that it does not intend to claim every attack even by its supporters, while it encourages for more. The latest claimed foreign attack was the Belgrade Israeli Embassy Attack, Serbia, July 4, 2024, by an IS supporter, which IS took credit for in the 450th issue of the Al-Naba Newspaper, featuring an image of the attacker "Miloš Žujović" pledging allegiance, titling the editorial "They are us and we are them." IS can always claim its suspected attacks, even those of its sympathizers, later, whenever it sees the time fits for it. It took ISSP several months to claim the Tongo Tongo Ambush on October 4, 2017, that killed 4 American Soldiers and 4 Nigerien Soldiers, acknowledging it on January 12, 2018 via the previous ISSP leader "Adnan Abu Walid Al-Sahrawi." @Conflict_Monitor

🏴❌🇳🇪🇩🇪 — German national is said to have been abducted by unidentified armed men in Niamey, the capital of Niger, before being taken to an unknown destination. This is the exact way an American Pilot was kidnaped in Niamey, Niger, on October 22, 2025, from his home in a secure neighborhood near the presidential palace. Seems like ISSP cells in the capital are still there active and monitoring potential targets just like they did in the Niamey Airport Attack. For now, the known foreigners to be at the hands of ISSP are an Austrian, Swiss, and an American. The first two were taken around the same time in Agadez, central Niger. @Conflict_Monitor

🏴❌🇸🇾 — IED attack attempt was thwarted in Damascus, Qudsaya suburb, yesterday. The Damascus cells, specialized in IEDs, are still active in their IED Attacks Attempts, the latest being the Palace of Justice Café Bombing. @Conflict_Monitor

⬛❌🏳️ — Recently, ISSP attacked JNIM in northeastern Burkina Faso, killing an unspecified number of fighters, among them is a leader, and the flight of the rest. Waiting for the claim or further info soon... @Conflict_Monitor

🏴❌🇨🇲 — For the first time in a while, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) claimed to have attacked a Cameroonian Army barracks, yesterday, in the town of Sami, Maroua region, killing one, flight of the rest, and burning the camp. ISWAP suffered some set backs since early this year in northern Cameroon regarding a camp that has Israeli-trained Cameroonian Special Forces, failing twice in a row in overrunning the camp, with forgien fighters killed. It later shelled the camp with 9 mortar shells by their claim. Along side some other incidents in other camps due to their forces being spotted early on because of the distance they need cross to reach a certain barracks. And since then their insurgent activities in the north have decreased or seized to exist, until now. @Conflict_Monitor

⬛😞🏳️ — Ambush by the Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) targeting Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leaves one TTP militant killed and three others injured. According to a post circulated by pro-TTP accounts, ISKP militants led by Commander “Sadiq Yar” ambushed a group of TTP militants in Orakzai district on July 27. The attack killed one TTP militant and injured three others. The post further claimed that “Sadiq Yar” is the brother-in-law of another local ISKP commander who was killed several months ago. @Conflict_Monitor

🏴😞🏳️ — The Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) has claimed responsibility for the assassination of the Taliban's Director of Information and Culture for Badakhshan and his guard on July 28, while travelling toward Faizabad.

Assassination of a leader in the apostate Taliban militia and one of his guards in a Mujahideen attack in northern Afghanistan Khorasan Province - Wednesday, 15 Safar 1448 AH By the grace of Allah Almighty, the soldiers of the Caliphate targeted a leader in the apostate Taliban militia, near the city of (Faizabad), the capital of the (Badakhshan) region, with machine guns, which led to his death along with one of his guards, and all praise is due to Allah.

🏳️😞🇷🇺 — JNIM released images from the repelled Russian Africa Corps attack on their positions near the village of Hadj Wéré, north of Niono, Ségou region, on July 26. According to the group's statement, several Russian mercenaries were killed or wounded during the clash. @Conflict_Monitor

🏳️😞🏴 — Two Islamic State Sahel Province militants were killed and their weapons captured following the JNIM ambush on July 26 in the Dosso region of southwestern Niger. JNIM makes it clear that it intends to stop any ISSP attempt to position itself in northern Benin, where there is dense forests, by blocking their way from Burkina Faso and now attacking them close to the Benin borders after ISSP made it all the away around from Niger and Nigeria. While the last official claimed attack by ISSP in Benin was back in 2022. The rivalry between the two groups is now across the Sahel region/West Africa in Mali, Niger, Burkina, Benin, and Nigeria. @Conflict_Monitor

🏳️😞🇲🇱🇷🇺 — JNIM published photos from the July 19 attack on the Kouakourou barracks and the destruction of the Russian Mi-24 helicopter. JNIM also claimed to have destroyed an Africa Corps military truck between Djenné and Kouakourou, using an IED, as it attempted to reinforce the attacked barracks. @Conflict_Monitor

🇮🇶😞🏴 — The Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of four individuals accused of terrorism during a joint security operation with the Popular Mobilization Forces intelligence in the Rawa district of Anbar province. Among those arrested was Majid Hamid Ismail Arar al-Rawi, who was found in possession of an identity card issued by (Diwan of Al-Da'wah wal Masajid) in the furat province, dated 1437 AH (2015/2016 CE). Three women who had previously returned from the al-Jada'a camp, located in Mosul and designated for the families of IS members, were also arrested. Weapons, ammunition, more than 45 million Iraqi dinars, dozens of mobile phones and SIM cards, and vehicle license plates were seized. Reports indicate that those arrested were responsible for distributing financial support (kafalat) provided by IS to the families of its slain and imprisoned members @Conflict_Monitor

🏴⁉️🇸🇾 — Tonight, an IED attack targeted a patrol belonging to security forces in the town of Baghuz, Al-Bukamal countryside - Deir ez-Zor The attack resulted in the injury of those inside the vehicle. A search operation was launched along side barriers and curfew for the town. @Conflict_Monitor

🏳️😞🇲🇱🇷🇺 — Clashes erupted between JNIM and Malian/Russian Forces in the outskirts of Niono City. The Russian Africa Corps released footage of the clashes representing only a partial fight in their attempted advance towards JNIM positions around the city, killing 8 militants. While JNIM claimed to have repelled an advance by Africa Corps near the village of Hadj Wéré, north of Niono, Ségou region, on July 26, 2026. With footage confirming losses in equipment and casualties for their enemy. @Conflict_Monitor

🏳️❌⬛ — JNIM claimed to have ambushed a group of ISSP fighters near the city of Sambera, Dosso region, on the evening of Sunday, July 26, 2026. This is the second clash between the two groups in Niger. The 1st one happened in a bordering Nigerien village in the Burkina-Niger borders, Tillabéri region, during which IS claimed to have killed 35 JNIM militants after they tried to steal the livestock of those in the village. The attack might have came from Benin since the town is only 16km away from the country. @Conflict_Monitor

As a German citizen, he was deported to Germany and imprisoned until 12th May 2026. - 3rd July 2026 - Ballout searched under German weapon laws but only a toy gun was found. - 25th July - He drove his car into a group of LGBTQ+ people during a march in Berlin, killing one and injuring 29 others, 7 of whom were in critical condition. - 26th July 2026 - Ballout clashes with German Forces killing him. @Conflict_Monitor

🏴😞🇩🇪🏳️‍🌈 — Car ramming by an Islamic State supporter kills one and injures 29 others during a "pride" festival in Berlin. The attacker drove his car which he rented in his name to a crowed in central Berlin participating in a "pride march," before crashing to a tree and attacking the gathering with a machete. Resulting in the death of one and the injury of 29, 7 of them are in a critical condition. Since the perpetrator had rented the car in his own name. He was quickly identified as Abdul Ballout, a 21-year-old German citizen of Lebanese descent. He was well known to the police for his ties to Islamist circles in Berlin. Ballout had previously been convicted of causing grievous bodily harm and extortion. He was released in May of this year. He was at large for sometime before being tracked by the counter-terrorism unit, clashing with them, which resulted in his death. Noting that he tried to reach the Islamic State in Syria previously via Lebanon, but was arrested and returned to Berlin, Germany. @Conflict_Monitor

🇵🇸❌🇮🇱 — Two Israeli Soldiers were killed following a confrontation between Palestinians and settlers. The incident took place on Friday morning when a group of Israeli settlers arrived in the village of Tell, southwest of Nablus. The locals planning to kick them out of the village, turned into a fight, escalating quickly when "Farouk Adnan Ali Ramadan" managed to take a gun belonging to one of the settlers, killing two and injuring two others before dying along side three of his relatives "Imran Ahmed, Jawad Hussein, Ibrahim Hussein." Other wounded Palestinians were transferred to a nearby hospital for treatments, but were raided by IDF soldiers, where they were either arrested or under supervision until recovery for an arrest. @Conflict_Monitor

🏴😞🇵🇰 — The Islamic State Pakistan Province (ISPP) claimed responsibility for the killing of Judge (Abdul Hakim Kakar) and his bodyguard, and the serious wounding of another judge, (Tariq Lashari), in an attack on their vehicle on the Mastung Highway in Balochistan. The attack occurred near the Wali Khan railway crossing on the highway as they were traveling from Quetta to the Mastung court. The bodies of the dead and the wounded were taken to a nearby hospital for forensic examination and treatment. @Conflict_Monitor
