There will always be tension between ascending Canadian nationalism and American-style White nationalism radiating outward from the United States, and its unique historical experiences with European immigration. The former is the resurgence of a long-suppressed ethnocultural identity rooted in Canada’s specific founding peoples and their inheritance, and make up the majority of Whites. The latter offers a broader racial framework that finds natural alignment among Whites across Europe and the historic Anglosphere colonies, as they suffer through much of the same issues. One stays particular to this country and this people. The other generalizes across the White world. They overlap in places but they are not the same project. Canada is a distinct society.
