I know sense when I hear it, and this man seems to be talking sense here.
Give it a listen. Then ask yourselves:
Is it fair to classify the recent Golders Green attack as a terrorist attack?

Practical advice on how to seek forgiveness and eliminate sinful habits | Abu Rayhanah AbdulHakeem Al-Amreeki hafidahullah
Fond Memories of Sheikh Muqbil's Chair | Related by one of his young students
"About a year before the passing of Shaykh Muqbil—may Allāh have mercy on him—when I was about nine years old, I used to crawl beneath it and face the wall, striving to read and memorise the Qur'ān.
Sometimes I would close myself inside the table and press it against the wall so that I could revise without distractions. If sleep overtook me, I would sleep inside it. At times, some of the other boys would reach it before I did; and whoever reached it first had the greater right to it, so we would not dispute with him but accept and yield.
How beautiful those days that have passed were."
Written by Abū ʿAbdullāh Aḥmad Al-Jawlaḥī
The Torment of High Aspiration
Never has a human being been afflicted with anything greater than the loftiness of his aspiration. For one whose ambition is elevated seeks the highest ideals; yet time may not aid him, and his means may grow weak, so he remains in a state of torment.
I myself have been granted a share of this lofty ambition, and thus I suffer because of it. Yet I do not say, “Would that it had not been so,” for life is made pleasant only in proportion to the absence of intellect, and the rational person does not choose an increase in pleasure at the expense of reason.
Whoever is endowed with high aspiration is afflicted in proportion to its height, as the poet has said:
وَإِذا كانَتِ النُفوسُ كِباراً * تَعِبَت في مُرادِها الأَجسامُ
When souls are ambitious, the bodies grow weary in achieving those ambitions.
[Ibn Al-Jawzī, Ṣayd Al-Khāṭir]
A muṣḥaf with brief commentary and a glossary explaining uncommon or ambiguous words in the Qur’an, by Shaykh Abū ʿAmr Al-Ḥajūrī (ḥafidhahullāh).
This represents the first stage in understanding tafsīr: familiarising oneself with Gharā’ib Al-Qur’ān (the uncommon or ambiguous words in the Qur’an).
The Shaykh’s book was initially printed as a compact, pocket-sized volume containing only the glossary. It was later republished as a standard muṣḥaf with the glossary and commentary in the margins.
From what is apparent, Allah has placed acceptance in this work. It is currently being sold in the bookshop on the ground floor of the Clock Tower
Note: Some people think that Shaykh Yaḥyā Al-Ḥajūrī, Shaykh Abū ʿAmr Al-Ḥajūrī, and Shaykh ʿAbdul-Ḥamīd Al-Ḥajūrī are blood brothers. This is incorrect. “Ḥajūr” refers to a place/tribe. The latter two are among the prominent students of Shaykh Yaḥyā.
Frequent enquiry:
Where's so-and-so? We don't see them anymore?
Common response:
It's none of my business. I haven't been appointed to watch over them!
Advice of a scholar:
Sheikh Muḥammad ibn Ṣāliḥ Al-ʿUthaymīn raḥimahullāh said: “It is not from the brotherhood of Emān that, when you see your brother falling short in his religious duties or find him indulging in prohibited matters, you forsake him, leaving him as prey to his lusts and Shayṭān. Rather, you must advise him as much as you can and continue to follow up with him. Indeed, sincere advice has a profound effect; however, it is necessary to follow it up by checking on the one you advise. Do you not see that if you were to plant a tree and water it once, then stop watering it, the tree would not survive? Likewise, you must continue to follow up until it grows and stands strong on its own.”

A Shi’ee claimed that Ahlus-Sunnah don’t truly love Hasan and Husayn (the grandsons of the Prophet ﷺ) because they don’t narrate any hadith from them.
A student of knowledge responded:
▪️Firstly, the Prophet ﷺ passed away when both of them were only around 6–7 years old.
▪️Secondly, Ahlus-Sunnah do narrate from them. For example, Hasan ibn Ali said: “I memorised from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ:
((دع ما يريبك إلى ما لا يريبك))
Leave what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt.” [Reported by At-Tirmidhi and An-Nasa'i, who graded it authentic]
▪️Thirdly, even if their narrations are few, their virtues are widely reported. For example:
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Hasan and Husayn are the leaders of the youth of Paradise.”
And he ﷺ said:
“O Allah, I love them, so love them.”
▪️Finally, Abu Hurairah narrated more hadith than Abu Bakr, 'Umar, Ali and, Uthman—even though they are greater in virtue. So virtue isn’t measured by how many narrations someone has, but by the testimony of the Prophet ﷺ.
At that point, the Shee'ee realised he was in the wrong .

There was an elderly Egyptian man who filled his pockets with sand which he had collected from the Baqee' graveyard.
A student of knowledge informed him that this is not permissible, that this is a graveyard, etc.
He said my wife is ill and I'm looking for a cure for her, and this sand here is blessed.
Seeing as explaining the impermissiblity of this act based on textual evidences was meaningless, the student told him: do you know that the heads of the hypocrites, like 'Abdullah ibn Abi Salool, were also buried here? So perhaps the sand you've collected is from their remains!
Upon this he poured the sand out of his pockets and quickly washed his hands.
Hope & Fear
One of my greatest hopes is that these lessons, recordings, and notes—shared on this channel and any affiliated platforms—truly benefit students of knowledge; that they grow into teachers better than me, bring greater benefit to the Muslims than I ever could, and above all, that we all share in the reward.
At the same time, among my main worries in making these resources accessible is that:
1⃣. They may fall into the wrong hands—those who study the Deen only to spread doubts, whether from outside or within the Muslim community. As the poet said:
أَعَلِّمُهُ الرِمايَةَ كُلُّ يَومٍ * فَلَمّا اِستَدَّ ساعِدُهُ رَماني
I trained him in archery every day—but when his arm grew strong, he turned and shot at me.
And how often I taught him poetry—but when he composed a verse, he used it to attack me.
2⃣. They may be used by individuals or institutes to sell courses to Muslims, thereby reducing—or even cutting off—the chain of reward.
3⃣. They may lead to complacency, where people rely on them as a substitute for attending halaqaat in the masjid, even though they are meant to support learning, not replace teachers.
