My least favorite fact is that we get the word "excruciating" from the the same word as "crucifixion". And i always think about that the word to describe the worst pain someone can experience comes from the same pain that our lord took up for us. Yes he died for our sins but i think we forget it is not a kind death, it was not a falling asleep typa death. It was an awful, painful and excruciating death, and yet he still did it... for us
