The amount of beautiful things in your life depends largely on your ability to notice them.
Happy Tuesday ☀️🍁
Interrupting your doomscrolling to give another PSA that it’s that time of year where a nice stove top simmer pot/potpourri add just another levels of coziness to your home.
Simmer in a pot of water —dried or fruit scraps, citrus peels, cranberries (the day after Thanksgiving is a good day to stock up on those), clove, cinnamon sticks, star anise, old vanilla beans from previous batches of homemade vanilla extract, nutmeg, dried herbs like sage, lavender, etc. Just use what you have. Open up a window and cleanse the air in your home, cozy up with a good book, cup or coffee/tea and enjoy the vibe. 🥰
These also make nice gift. Put only dried ingredients in a jar with a cute ribbon on it and you’re good to go!

In dutch oven
Saute, in this order :
2 Onions
5 carrots
4 bell peppers
4 celery stalks
Potatoes (to meal size)
Ginger
(Salt pepper cayenne paprika red pepper oregano)
Meanwhile the roast, usually 3+ lbs, let it set out for half hour to warm up.
Make room in base of pan and sear on all sides.
Add chopped
Ten Pears
1/2 lb. Mushrooms
1/3 head of cabbage
Half head of garlic
Salt.. Spices
Heat oven to 300°.
Once meat is seared, top off with water to cover, can add juice, beer, or wine, bay leaves.
Roast in oven covered for three hours, stir once.
Break up roast into chunks, roast for another hour uncovered. Four hours total at 300°.

This original beaded pendant pattern draws inspiration from the Överhogdal tapestries. Rediscovered in 1909 in Sweden, these surviving textiles date back to the late Viking Age. For this design I focused on the prominent Yggdrasil motif, the World Tree often interpreted as a herald to Ragnarök. My design is my own artistic interpretation and not a direct copy of the artifact. However I did remain faithful to the original palette by keeping the distinctive red, gold, and blue colors seen within the tapestry.

Looks like the last raspberries of the season. Its still near 90°F right now here, but should cool off soon. Just nice to see theblast remnants of summer hanging on. Lol.
Interrupting your doomscrolling with this PSA—It’s that time of year where you turn all your sourdough boules into cute little pumpkins. 🎃☺️

A common tactic I've encountered in my experience in dealing with antifa mobs online is that after making a clear concise public statement about something, they will proceed to make outrageously slanderous comments about you in an effort to force you to keep engaging. It's about control, and we should all be aware of this toxic behavior.

I love the vintage vibe of the Jolly Literacy program for homeschool. It's colorful yet simple, straight to the point phonics and grammar, and it holds my kids' attention. Highly recommend. I buy the books from Rainbow Resources homeschool supply company.
