LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE
Matthew 5:14-16
You are the light of the world… Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father in heaven.
Jesus said that you’re the light of the world. Light doesn’t argue with darkness—it simply shines. This means when you’re kind, loving, and truthful, you bring God’s light to others.
Your light shines through your words and actions. When you help someone, tell the truth, forgive, or talk about Jesus, you’re shining.
The Bible says a city set on a hill cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14). So, always let your light shine.
The Bible also says, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come” (Isaiah 60:1). Let others see Christ in you by the way you live every day.

DESIRE THE GIFT OF PROPHECY
(Speak Forth The Word Of God In Power)
TO THE BIBLE - 1 Corinthians 14:1
“Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.”
LET’S TALK
The Bible says, “There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit” (1 Corinthians 12:4), meaning that there are several gifts that God imparts to His children through the agency of the Holy Spirit. But from our opening Scripture, we can decipher that the gift of prophecy ranks above all the other gifts of the Spirit that you should desire. God wants you to operate the gift of prophecy.
The gift of prophecy isn’t just for apostles, prophets, evangelists or pastors; it’s for the Church! Every Christian ought to prophesy. To prophesy is to speak forth the Word of God in power, whether by foretelling future events, or as a rhema-word to cause a change in the now! The Bible says, “But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church” (1 Corinthians 14:3-4). When you declare the mind of God in prophecy, others are edified, strengthened and comforted.
Thus, with the gift of prophecy in operation in your life, you can never be in darkness as to what steps to take in life. Whether it’s choosing which subjects to focus on, navigating friendships, or making plans for your future, prophecy can guide you. Moses, in the Old Testament, understood the power and importance of prophecy and wished that all of God’s children were prophets (Numbers 11:29). But thanks be unto God; now that we’re born again and have received the Holy Spirit, we’ve received the divine enablement and inspiration to prophesy. Hallelujah!
Consequently, whether you’re praying on your own or in the company of other Christians, you can prophesy. As the Word of God wells up in you under that influence of the Holy Spirit, open your mouth and speak forth those words in prophecy. Begin to desire the gift of prophecy. The Bible says the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man (not some but all) to profit withal (1 Corinthians 12:7). This means you, too, can prophesy, and you can begin right now! Hallelujah!

1 Timothy 1:18 GNB Timothy, my child, I entrust to you this command, which is in accordance with the words of prophecy spoken in the past about you. Use those words as weapons in order to fight well
PRAY
Precious Holy Spirit, I thank you for the gift of prophecy. Thank you for filling my heart and mouth with words of power to cause changes in my life and in the lives of those around me. I declare that my life is for the glory of God; my future is that of success, progress and prosperity! I daily dwell in peace and health, and I experience the favour of God in every area of my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

LIVE IN THE FULLNESS OF THE SPIRIT
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18).
Many have approached their walk with God as though spiritual effectiveness comes only through occasional moments of intense preparation. So, when they need to do something significant for God, they feel they must first “get ready” spiritually before they can function effectively. But that’s not the life the Lord Jesus demonstrated or mirrored for us.
The Lord Jesus didn’t live from one spiritual emergency to another. He lived in uninterrupted fellowship with the Father. Prayer to Him wasn’t a burdensome “preparation” because He needed to minister to people; it was His life. He didn’t have to suddenly withdraw to become spiritually fit each time a situation arose. He lived consistently filled with the Spirit, conscious of the Father’s indwelling presence and power at all times.
This is the understanding the Apostle Paul conveys in Ephesians 5:18. The expression “be filled with the Spirit” in the Greek carries the idea of being constantly and continually filled with the Spirit. It’s not a one-time experience or an occasional encounter. It’s a way of life.
Some have misunderstood certain portions of the book of Acts where the Bible records that the Apostles being filled with the Spirit, did something. For example, Acts 4:8 says, “Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said….” This doesn’t presume or suggest that Peter was empty at one moment and, because of an emergency, suddenly became filled with the Spirit. No.
The apostles lived under the continuous influence and fullness of the Holy Spirit. Their lives were yielded to Him daily. This is the life God wants for every Christian. He doesn’t want you struggling spiritually today and trying to recover tomorrow. He wants you continually aflame with the Spirit, always sensitive to His guidance, always full of faith, wisdom, power, and divine consciousness. When you’re continually filled with the Spirit, you won’t panic when challenges arise. You’ll respond from a place of spiritual strength and dominion.
How do you maintain this continual infilling? It’s through fellowship with the Word, praying in tongues, worship, and yielding yourself consciously to the Holy Spirit every day. Make it your desire to live constantly under His influence. That’s the higher life in Christ: a life of consistent victory, power, and unbroken fellowship with the Lord. Hallelujah!
Prayer / Confession
Dear Father, thank you for the blessing and ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life. I live continually filled with the Spirit, walking in constant fellowship with you and manifesting your wisdom, excellence and power. My life is aflame with your glory, and I function from a place of victory always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I am stronger, bigger, healthier, brighter, and wiser today than I was yesterday, for the invigorating power of the Holy Spirit works actively and mightily in and through me daily. It works in me mightily, causing my health to flourish daily. No weapon formed against my body shall prosper, for my body is preserved by the Spirit. I was born for the praise and glory of God; therefore, my life shows forth God’s praise and glory.
I affirm that divinity is at work in me. The knowledge of God’s Word in my heart causes me to walk in faith, dominion, glory, and power. Through the revelation knowledge of God’s Word, I live above the deception, trickery, manipulation, and lies of the adversary. I function in absolute victory. I eschew and purge from my heart all elements of anger, bitterness, rage, or fury; anger has no place in me.
I’m a victor in Christ Jesus. Fear, doubt, and unbelief have no place in me, for my faith in God and in His eternal Word is the victory that overcomes the world! Divinity is tabernacled in my physical body! I’m a new creation, not subject to the elements of this world. I live a transcendent life! I am surrounded by an innumerable company of angels; therefore, nothing can attack me or come against me successfully.
Divine life is at work in me and that life is activated in every fiber of my being. I am the expression of the glory and dominion of Christ. I enjoy divine health realities daily. I refuse to be swayed by contrary winds or circumstances, for my faith is the title deed of unseen realities.
I am empowered to do great wonders and miracles, and to effect positive changes in my world and in my health, family, and finances. I enjoy God’s boundless grace; it is at work in me continuously. No weapon of evil, disease, sickness, or death fashioned against me can prosper because I am greatly favoured and highly graced.
I know my divine origin; I’m from Zion—the city of the living God. Therefore, I am not subject to the principles of this world’s system. I am a heavenly citizen; the Spirit of God is working effectually in me today and always. The life of God in my spirit destroys infirmity and renders inoperative, ineffective, and useless the plans of the devil concerning my life and health in Jesus’ name. Amen. I am a winner in Christ Jesus! I am not afraid. I am a new creation in Christ. I am protected by God, and His angels are always with me. I am safe wherever I go. I am special, blessed, and victorious.
I show God’s goodness and glory everywhere I go. I enjoy good health every day. Even when things seems difficult, I keep believing God. I know that His Word is true. I am making a difference in my world. God’s grace is working in me every day. I am blessed, favoured, and full of God’s grace in Jesus' name. Amen.
