📰 NEWS
Turkey Arrests Hex Founder Richard Heart, Seizes $7.15M and Cold Wallets
Turkish police arrested Hex founder Richard Heart and seized $7.15 million in cash, six cold wallets, seven firearms, and 1,400 rounds of ammunition during searches of 15 addresses.
💡 Why it matters
The arrest of a major crypto founder and the seizure of millions in cash and cold wallets directly impacts custody and compliance standards for large token projects. This enforcement action could lead to stricter oversight and reduced liquidity for assets associated with the arrested individual.

WHERE THE MARKET STANDS
BTC is trading near $78,000 after failing to hold $80K overnight. Total crypto market cap sits around $2.63T.
Support: $76,800 to $77,000
Resistance: $80,000 to $81,500
Majors (last session): ETH ~$2,446 | XRP ~$1.37 | SOL ~$103
CONTEXT THAT MATTERS
August was Bitcoin's strongest month of 2026, up roughly 24%. US spot BTC ETFs pulled in close to $2 billion in a single week, the best of the year. But those funds are still more than $2.5 billion in the red year to date. One good week does not undo eight bad months.
BTC also remains about 37% below its all-time high of $126,080.
ON THE CALENDAR
Roughly $1.5B in token unlocks hits the market this week:
- SUI: 13.53M tokens today (~$9.7M)
- ENA: 40.63M tokens tomorrow
- HYPE: 9.92M tokens on 6 September (~$797M)
Mid-September is the real pressure point. A Senate vote, a Fed policy decision, and quadruple witching all land within days of each other.
LEVELS TO WATCH
Reclaim $80K to $81.5K: momentum back on the table
Lose $76.8K: retest of the low $70Ks opens up
