🚨 Frenkie OUT for 5-6 months.
Frenkie de Jong has ruled out surgery for now after suffering a tear to the medial collateral ligament in his right knee. His recovery will be closely monitored, with Barcelona keen to avoid a situation similar to Ansu Fati and Samuel Umtiti, whose decisions to delay surgery led to longer recoveries. Tests carried out on first-team player Frenkie de Jong have confirmed that he has suffered a tear of the medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his right knee.
