For gold today, resistance levels to the upside are 4472 → 4500 (round number mark) → 4519 (200-day moving average; level of a previous breakout and subsequent pullback).
Support levels to the downside are 4397 (yesterday's low; critical support level) → 4379 (100-day moving average; final medium-term line of defense) → 4340.
Intraday trading strategy:
Enter long positions with a light volume in the 4400–4410 range; place the stop-loss below 4390, with targets at 4450–4470.
If the price faces resistance near 4500–4510 during a rebound, consider a light short position; place the stop-loss above 4520, with targets at 4450–4420.
Breakout strategy: If the price firmly holds above 4525, look to go long on a pullback to 4500; place the stop-loss at 4485, with targets at 4570–4600.

The pullback in gold continues, and with the rebound weakening, gold is showing a downward trend.
In the short term, we continue to focus on the support level around 4600-4620. As long as gold doesn't break below 4600, the bullish trend will remain unchanged.
Our short-term trading strategy is primarily to buy on dips, with selling on rallies as a secondary approach.
We can wait for gold to pull back to around 4615-4625 to enter a long position.
We can establish a small short position around 4650-4660.

Keep an eye on whether gold can hold the 4650 level; the current price action is similar to yesterday's.
4700 is the resistance level.
If it holds 4650, I will buy. Conversely, if it drops below 4650, I see a risk of gold falling to test the 4600 level.

The sell trade I highlighted earlier near 4660 has now reached the 4640 level, securing a perfect 200-point profit.
Continue to monitor the 4600 support level; as long as the price holds above it, you can look to enter buy positions.

If the short-term support zone of 4630–4610 holds firm against a decisive breakdown, this becomes a key level for considering new long positions; in this scenario, the stop-loss should be placed below 4600 to guard against a drop toward the 4560–4540 range, while the upside target remains near the 4670–4690 highs.
However, if the 4600 level is breached, we should wait for the pullback to fully play out before acting; attention should then shift to the secondary support zone around 4560–4540, which serves as another potential entry point for long positions. For these trades, the stop-loss should be set near 4510 to protect against a continued one-sided decline, while upside targets would first focus on whether the price can stabilize above the 4600 mark, followed by a move toward the 4650–4670 highs.
