It comes down to 6 rules that I still follow.
1. Protect your mornings.
The first 2 hours of your day decide the other 22. Anyone still checking Instagram before checking their goals is already behind.
2. Track your money like your macros.
Most people don’t have a spending problem, they have an awareness problem. You can’t fix what you’re not honest about.
3. Play the long game.
Consistency in the boring years is what buys you the exciting ones. Everyone wants the yacht. Nobody wants the 5am alarms that paid for it.
4. Chase skill, not comfort.
Getting slightly better every single day is the only compound interest that never lets you down.
5. Learn to sit with risk before you take it.
Understanding why a trade works matters more than the size of the position. Moving big with no edge just grows your ego.
6. And build before you need it.
The habits, the discipline, the network build them while nobody’s watching, because by the time you need them, it’s too late to start.
