Dozens of Men and Women from the greater Chicago network recently got together for our annual Christmas party. This year, we've all had a lot to be thankful for and a lot to reflect on. Over the years, many organizations have risen and fallen. The one thing that hasn't faded are the bonds we've built along the way. Regardless of the successes or failures of individual organizations, the one thing that remains constant is the need for strong, rooted, White communities. Community is the backbone of every nation. It's the foundation of this movement and the one thing that makes all future political endeavors possible. Creating strong social safety nets with people you can rely on is the single most important thing we can strive for in our current situation. All political efforts are the extension of the mass of people they have behind them. The political vehicle is nothing more than a spear tip. What we are building is the body that will drive that spear, and without the body, the spear is useless. So I ask of you. Create those bonds of brotherhood. Get involved in your local pro White community. Find the people you can raise your family with. People you can count on in a time of need. People you can build a life with and care for like their one of your own. In a world where everyone is atomized and alienated, break the mold and become a part of the solution. Get vetted. Earlier this year, and this week, members of the Midwest Network took the trip to Rhinelander, Wisconsin, the home of "The Hodag". Native to the Northwoods of Wisconsin, the Hodag was first reported by a lumberman and resort owner named Eugene "Gene" Shepard in 1893. He and a group of local men attempted to take down the beast with rifles, hunting dogs, and even squirt guns full of poisoned water - but it was eventually dynamite that was required to slay the beast. This great hunt was later re-enacted by Rhinelander residents in 1952 (as the attached black and white photo attests). In 1896, Shepard was able to actually capture a live specimen, with the help of some bear wrestlers and a healthy dose of chloroform. This beast was put on display at the Oneida County fair. The Hodag’s only known habitat is the forested area surrounding Rhinelander, the county seat of Oneida County in Wisconsin’s Northwoods. Today, nearly a quarter of Oneida County is undeveloped land that’s open for public recreation, meaning that there is a great amount of potential territory for the beast to roam. Unfortunately, it is believed that the Hodag is now critically endangered, if not extinct, due to a sudden drop in the population of all-White Bulldogs, its primary food source, in the early 1900s. Today, the Hodag is the official symbol of Rhinelander, and a true Midwestern legend. Ever since the colonial times men in this great Empire state have banded together to better themselves and their communities, whether it was defense from Indian raids or to secure our liberty from the crown.
