Dear ProjectMatrixx Community,
We have a difficult but necessary update to share regarding the leadership and integrity of our project. Transparency is a core value of our community, and we believe it is essential to be completely upfront about recent events.
The Situation
Recently, serious allegations came to light regarding our lead team member, mrick. Following a detailed internal investigation—which was prompted after @MODEDGES shared evidence of an unrecorded $200+ donation—we uncovered a systemic pattern of financial misconduct and deceptive behavior.
Our investigation revealed the following:
Misappropriation of Community Funds:
An estimated $1,200 to $1,500 (or more) in community donations was directed to personal accounts and used entirely for personal gain.
Deceptive Solicitations: Funds were repeatedly solicited from community members via direct messages under false pretenses. This included unverified claims regarding family medical emergencies.
Fabricated Incidents: Deceptive claims and falsified photos of a "blasted phone" were used to solicit emergency funds, which were ultimately used to purchase a personal 50k device on July 3rd.
Actions Taken
We take the trust of our community, donors, and team members incredibly seriously. Because this behavior completely violates our ethics, we have taken immediate action:
Immediate Removal:
@Mrick343 has been officially found guilty of misconduct and has been completely removed from ProjectMatrixx and all associated platforms.
Temporary Project Pause: To allow our remaining team time to audit our systems, reorganize internal leadership, and ensure absolute financial transparency moving forward, ProjectMatrixx development is temporarily paused.
Looking Forward
This is a tough milestone for us, but ensuring the integrity of our project is paramount. Once the situation settles and we establish a secure, accountable structure, we will resume our work on ProjectMatrixx.
