It’s a bit out of topic but its also interesting cause it was a discussion I had with a fastfood chain owner friend of mine
5-10 years ago if you visit any mall, any fast food restaurant or food court, people used to always leave food on the tray and homeless people would usually collect that, and you’d see that usually at KFC
Nowadays everyone either eats everything or takes the rest away with them
And the question was, is it due to obesity numbers rising? Or it’s just inflation and poverty?
My take on this was inflation, obese people always find a way to get money to eat and stay fat so it’s definitely inflation and people being more calculated with their spendings
