A little story time on how one employee almost destroyed my entire agency I’m somewhat a soft hearted person when it comes to close people to me If someone is close to me and is struggling, i’ll find a way to give him a job/opportunity but he has to be worth the headache I had this friend i knew from uni that wanted to make money online and was very eager to learn. Only issue was, he was eager VERBALLY and never PHYSICALLY He gave the best talks and speeches about work but when it came down to work, he’d always be late or get caught slacking and doing something else (watching reels etc..) I managed to get him a chat manager job for a friend of mine and he was getting paid 2-3k a month which was very well for his position at that point, but he’d go spend the 2-3k on cigars and trying to look rich like an idiot rather than use the money to build his own thing The guy ended up kicking him out because he wasn’t even working properly and I gave him his last chance as a chatting manager at my own physical office with a commission pay that can get up to 5k a month That was when we were building the office at the start, I called him to come help move furniture and he would always make up excuses Even when he did come he would sit on his phone and scroll on reels and envision himself as this millionaire I ended up firing him the day I launched the physical office set up Took me 1 phone call to find someone 10x better and more hardworking Don’t get attached or feel obligated towards people you know if they affect your business Your business should come as priority ALWAYS when it comes to someone trying to sabotage it even if he’s your friend. Trust me, finding someone better and more hardworking is way easier and will cause you less headache.
