📖 Lok Sabha Unstarred Question No. 212 (01.12.2025) confirms notification 📜 of the 8th Central Pay Commission 💰 (8th CPC) on 03.11.2025. ⚡️ No proposal exists to merge DA/DR with Basic Pay.

DA increments will continue as usual till the implementation of 8th CPC recommendations. 8th CPC should be enforced on 01.01.2026.The disadvantage of delayed implementation of 8th CPC is that the employees don't get the arrears in salary corresponding to the delayed period. i.e..,if 8th CPC is enforced on 01.01.2028 then the employees will not get the arrears in salary for the period of 2 yrs from 01.01.2026 to 01.01.2028 as per the 8th CPC framework..

Dear all, from today, accounting of all CBS-TDS including Agents TDS is done at CPRC. Accordingly, CPRC will file the TDS returns for pan India for all CBS-TDS deducted from 01.12.2025.
