He was supposed to be returning home to his wife and family at Fort Hood in Texas after being stationed in South Korea. His return was a scheduled rotation. But he wanted to visit “a girlfriend” in Vladivostok on an unauthorized visit and something went wrong. His girlfriend accused him of stealing money from her and the Russian police detained him. ➡️ He was not arrested as part of a Russian anti American plot, but because he got into a fight with his “side-chick”. 🤷‍♂️ Once the Russian authorities understood that Black was an American soldier, they contacted the U.S. Embassy and are now working with the State Department.
