🇬🇧 Events involving Solidarity Collectives in May!
Dear friends, we invite you once again to talk in person. In May, activists of the Solidarity Collectives will take part in a whole range of events in Europe. This is a chance for us to meet up, discuss important issues, support our initiative and have fun.
On May 3, in Brno, Czech Republic, we invite you to the
Decolonize Sibiř solidarity event in support of our initiative. The event will feature a charity hair salon, a concert and a lottery. All the money raised will go towards the purchase of electronic warfare devices for the 6 units for which we are
currently raising funds.
The event is organized by the
Resistance Solidarity Club.
Also on May 3, a charity event
Solidarity Borsch will be held in Brussels. As you might have guessed, at this event you will have a chance to taste Ukrainian borsch and support our initiative.
From April 29 to May 12, the Days of Anarchy will take place in Leipzig. There will be dozens of extremely interesting events, among which we advise you not to miss a
conversation with an activist of the Solidarity Collectives. It will take place on Thursday, May 9, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
On May 8 in Frankfurt we will talk to the anarcho-syndicalist trade union FAU. We will discuss the situation of trade unions and the working class in Ukraine during the war. The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. in the Kurzschlusz cafe.
An anarchist book fair will take place in Mannheim, Germany, on May 9–12. We, along with the Belarusian ABC, will also be there. On Saturday, May 11, at 8:00 p.m., we are
waiting for you at the discussion Fighting against the war — perspectives of stopping Putin's war machine from Eastern Europe.
We will also be at the anarchist book fair in Prague, which will take place on May 24–26. On Sunday, May 26, we will talk about the organization of mutual aid networks and interaction between army structures as an anti-authoritarian movement in times of war.
Another anarchist book fair in which we will take part
will be held in Riga on May 24–26. Its detailed program will be announced later, but we can already invite you to the event Anarchy in Ukraine, where our activist is going to speak.
On May 17–19, the annual anarchist festival
Pinksterlanddagen will take place in the Dutch village of Appelscha. It will feature several events dedicated to Ukraine. Among them are a
discussion and Q&A session with the Solidarity Collectives and a
presentation of a book about Dmytro Petrov (“Leshy”), written by his father. You can also attend speeches by our friends from ABC Belarus and GNIP. The program of the festival can be found on its
website.
