How does European support create new opportunities for local innovation? 🇪🇺
Through the EU4Innovation East programme, the European Union supports the development of the Moldova Innovation Fund, a new funding opportunity for early-stage technology projects in Moldova.
This support enables the Fund to provide non-reimbursable financing to eligible founders, teams, and startups at the pre-seed and seed stages. 🚀
The funding can help technology projects validate their ideas, develop prototypes, test solutions and move closer to the market.

| 4 |  💛 PowerUp Moldova: bold ideas take the stage
On 22 September, Startup Moldova, together with Glovo, brings PowerUp Moldova - an evening dedicated to startups,
bold ideas and new connections.
7 startups will take the stage to pitch their solutions across AI, FinTech, Logistics, FoodTech and Sustainability, in front of a jury with real business and entrepreneurship experience.

Through non-reimbursable funding, the programme will support eligible technology projects at the pre-seed and early-stage, helping them progress towards validated, competitive and market-ready products.

| 7 |  +3📈 10,7 miliarde de lei în vânzări în doar șase luni, cu 19,1% mai mult față de aceeași perioadă a anului trecut.
Este unul dintre principalele rezultate înregistrate de rezidenții MITP în primul semestru al anului 2026. Dar cine generează aceste vânzări?
Datele din Raportul MITP pentru S1 2026, analizate de Nadejda Hodus, manager financiar MITP, conturează imaginea unui ecosistem divers, a cărui performanță nu este concentrată exclusiv în jurul marilor angajatori.
🔸 Companiile cu mai puțin de 50 de angajați generează 55% din vânzările totale ale rezidenților MITP.
🔸 86% dintre rezidenți sunt companii cu capital local.
🔸 Companiile din TOP 35 generează aproape o treime din vânzări, iar celelalte două treimi sunt realizate de o bază mult mai largă de rezidenți.

| 18 |  În perioada 22–23 octombrie 2026, în cadrul NEREUS Symposium 2026, organizat la Bologna, Italia, va avea loc o sesiune de matchmaking Business-to-Government (B2G), oferind furnizorilor de soluții tehnologice posibilitatea de a discuta direct cu autoritățile publice despre soluții bazate pe date satelitare și AI pentru monitorizare urbană, a solului și apei.

| 19 |  Ce se întâmplă când persoana care răspunde la telefonul unei companii este, de fapt, un agent AI? Și cât de mult din relația dintre companii și clienți poate fi automatizat fără ca experiența să devină impersonală?
În noul episod Rethink IT, Alex Gurdila a discutat cu co-fondatorul Kallina AI despre apariția unei noi categorii de produse: agenții vocali bazați pe inteligență artificială. Kallina AI dezvoltă o platformă prin care companiile pot automatiza apelurile, conecta agentul la sistemele CRM, gestiona programări și analiza ulterior conversațiile. Platforma oferă inclusiv agenți care comunică în română și rusă, o componentă relevantă pentru piața locală.
Am vorbit despre cum a apărut Kallina AI și problema pe care încearcă să o rezolve, dar și despre schimbarea mai largă prin care trece întreaga industrie IT și nu doar. Produsul a câștigat anul trecut la MITP Awards, la categoria Special Jury Prize. MITP Awards continuă adunarea dosarelor pentru concursul din acest an.
