| 3 |  🇲🇩🇺🇸 From dialogue to concrete opportunities between Moldova and the U.S.
MITP joined the US–Romania Regional Economic Forum in Iași, where Veronica Bucur, International Promotion Manager, spoke about tech partnerships, access to the U.S. market and venture capital.
The message: Moldova–U.S. tech cooperation is a two-way opportunity — connecting U.S. companies with Moldovan talent and partners, while helping Moldovan businesses reach new clients and expand internationally.

With support from the UMAEF, MITP is preparing a business mission in February 2027, with tailored B2B matchmaking to connect Moldovan tech companies with U.S. clients, partners and ecosystem organizations.

| 4 |  🌐 Connectivity Platform Meeting on Digital comes to Chișinău
On 9-10 November 2026, Chișinău will host the Connectivity Platform Meeting on Digital, bringing together senior government representatives and international financial institutions.
The meeting will convene Ministers and Deputy Ministers responsible for digital transformation from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Türkiye, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
They will be joined by representatives of EU Member States and high-level representatives from the European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and other international financial institutions.

| 7 | 🎵 What if learning a new language started with the songs you already love?
Meet LyricFluent, an innovative language-learning app founded in 2023 by an MITP resident company. By turning music and lyrics into an interactive, game-based experience, the platform helps users learn new languages while discovering the cultures behind the songs.
Built by a passionate team of four, LyricFluent has grown to more than 20,000 active users worldwide, with the majority based in the United States. In February this year, the product ranked among the Top 50 education apps on Apple’s App Store in the U.S. 🇺🇸
🌍 Its mission? To bring cultures closer together, one song at a time.

| 8 | 👀 Can you always tell what’s real and what’s AI? Watch closely, we’ll come back to this question at the end.
Founded in 2011 and relaunched in its current form in 2022, Bevian is a Moldova-based company with a team of 12 specialists working across Applied AI, Data Science and Automation.
🤖 One of the products they are currently building is Danubien. The idea began taking shape at the end of 2025 and has already reached the MVP stage, with its first pilot projects underway.
💡 Danubien is an AI platform designed to resolve service requests from start to finish, for both customers and employees. Its AI agents can access company knowledge, interact with internal systems and bring in human experts whenever needed.
🌍 The company is currently focused on the European market, with its first pilot activities taking place in Switzerland.
⚙️ And AI isn’t limited to the final product. At Bevian, it supports the entire development process, from coding and prototyping to design, testing and product development.

| 9 |  🇲🇩🇩🇪 Connecting Moldova’s tech ecosystem with Germany
On October 16, Berlin hosted the first Germany-Moldova Economic Forum, bringing together business leaders and public authorities to turn economic opportunities into concrete investment and cooperation. Discussions covered five key sectors: manufacturing, energy, digitalization, construction, and agriculture & food processing.
Marina Bzovîi, MITP Administrator, joined the Forum alongside representatives of Moldova’s public and private sectors. A special thank you to the MITP residents who joined us in Berlin and shared their experience, showcasing the capabilities and potential of Moldova’s tech sector.
Germany is already among the top markets by revenue generated by MITP residents, reaching USD 32 million in 2025. We look forward to seeing even more German tech companies and major players join the MITP ecosystem and build from Moldova. 🚀🇩🇪 | 338 |

În cadrul reuniunii vor fi discutate și aspectele privind regimul Moldova Innovation Technology Park (MITP), aferente Capitolului 8 – „Politica în domeniul concurenței”, inclusiv din perspectiva solicitării unei perioade de tranziție.

| 11 |  180 applications. Now, let’s open the numbers a little. 👀
During Call #1, open from 1-16 October 2026, the Moldova Innovation Fund received 80 Pre-Seed applications and 100 Early-Stage applications. That means 180 teams chose to put their ideas, products and growth plans forward, a strong signal of how much demand there is for early-stage innovation funding in Moldova.
What happens now? Every application enters the competitive assessment process and will be evaluated based on the published criteria. The road ahead is clear: Application submitted → Administrative amp; eligibility review → Technical evaluation → Pitch Session → Final selection → Notification → Contracting → Project implementationWe’ll keep sharing updates as the process moves forward.

| 19 |  🚀 Moldovan tech startups: apply to Star Venture! The EBRD and 1991 Accelerator invite startups with active products and proven market demand.
Over 24 months, startups will:
▪️ complete a business diagnostic with the University of Cambridge;
▪️ receive tailored consultancy;
▪️ connect with investors, mentors and international experts;
▪️ explore new markets and partnerships;
▪️ access free cloud services and tool discounts.
💡 Advisory support worth up to €50,000 per startup.
📌 Who can apply? Tech startups with active customers, demand proven by revenue, repeat usage or retention, and potential to scale internationally and attract venture capital.
Applicants must have a substantial presence in Moldova, be more than 50% owned by Moldovan citizens or permanent residents, and meet the EU definition of an MSME. Shortlisted teams will pitch online to investors and EBRD representatives.

| 20 |  În noul episod Rethink IT, Alex Gurdila a discutat cu Olga Melniciuc de la Startup Moldova despre cum s-a schimbat ecosistemul local de startupuri, ce fel de companii apar astăzi în Moldova și cât de pregătite sunt acestea să treacă de la o idee și un produs bun la investiții și piețe internaționale.
Noutatea mare e lansarea Moldova Innovation Fund, mecanism de finanțare lansat săptămâna trecută, cu un buget inițial de peste 1 milion de euro. Vorbim despre ce va schimba apariția unor asemenea instrumente pentru fondatori, unde se află Moldova în raport cu ecosistemele din regiune și care sunt obstacolele pe care startupurile locale încă trebuie să le depășească.
