ISRO has unveiled a model of the first module of the "#BharatiyaAntarikshStation" (BAS). This project aims to launch its first module by 2028, with the full station expected to become operational by 2035. The BAS is set to be a significant platform for indigenous research, including microgravity studies and testing technologies for long-duration human space missions. India's journey to establish its own orbital laboratory marks a major leap in its space programme.

India claimed four gold medals and one silver at the 18th International Olympiad on Astronomy & Astrophysics and bagged an overall Rank 1. Nearly 300 students from 64 countries competed in the Olympiad hosted in India.

INDIAN NAVAL SHIPS IN SRI LANKA FOR SLINEX - 25 Indian Naval Ships INS Rana (a Guided Missile Destroyer) and INS Jyoti (Fleet Tanker) arrived at Colombo to participate in the 12th edition of Sri Lanka India Naval Exercise (SLINEX-25) scheduled from 14 to 18 Aug 25. Conceptualised in 2005, SLINEX is a bilateral naval exercise that has strengthened maritime cooperation between the two nations over two decades. SLINEX aims at enhancing interoperability, maritime cooperation and exchanging best practices while jointly undertaking multi-faceted maritime operations.
