Irak heeft momenteel geen manier om dergelijke leningen terug te betalen, omdat hun valuta waardeloos is en niet internationaal erkend of bruikbaar. Vergeet niet, de andere dag wees ik erop dat de VS en Irak gezamenlijk hebben verklaard dat Irak nu wordt opgenomen in het Amerikaanse banksysteem en in internationaal erkende kringen. Dat kan niet gebeuren zonder de nieuwe dinar-koers van Irak. In het nieuws van gisteren zei de VS dat ze zich inzetten om Irak te helpen opnieuw toe te treden tot de WTO (World Trade Organization), OMDAT HET ALLE BENODIGDE VOORWAARDEN HADDEN VOLDOEN OM LID TE WORDEN. We zijn al jaren verteld dat de WTO de nieuwe dinar-koers van Irak nodig heeft, die internationaal acceptabel en bruikbaar moet zijn, om opnieuw toe te treden tot de WTO. In het nieuws vanochtend is het Iraakse ministerie van Financiën NU IN GENÈVE, en ontmoet het leiderschap van de WTO. ...EN HET GROTE NIEUWS VAN VANDAAG... "Morgen zullen Irak en de Verenigde Staten het grootste economische akkoord in de geschiedenis ondertekenen (60 miljard dollar). Bagdad en Washington bereiden zich voor om morgen, vrijdag, het grootste pakket aan overeenkomsten en memorandum van overeenstemming te ondertekenen sinds de oprichting van de relaties tussen de twee landen. Dit zal plaatsvinden tijdens het officiële bezoek van premier Ali al-Zaidi aan de Verenigde Staten.
