🌾 Production (2025–26): 290.91 lakh bales (provisional) | 🏭 Consumption: 328 lakh bales
🌍 Exports (FY25): US$ 11.49 billion, reaching major markets including the USA, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
📱 Kapas Kisan App has enabled 41 lakh+ farmers to register for transparent, paperless MSP procurement.
🌿 Kasturi Cotton Bharat is promoting traceability, certification and branding to position Indian cotton globally.
💰 During 2025–26, CCI procured 105.09 lakh bales worth ₹41,530 crore under MSP operations.

⚛️ Administrative Arrangement signed to secure long-term Australian uranium for India's clean energy programme
🔹On 9 July 2026, India and Australia finalised the Administrative Arrangement, operationalising their Civil Nuclear Cooperation Agreement.
🔹 Enables long-term exports of Australian uranium to India for peaceful civilian use.
🔹 All uranium supplied to India will remain under IAEA safeguards.
🔹 Establishes clear procedures for implementing the Agreement and provides a stable, long-term framework for cooperation between both governments and industry.
🔹 Marks a major milestone in India–Australia energy partnership, strengthening long-term collaboration in peaceful nuclear energy.
