The answer to this question is actually receptacle Now, you're happy that you picked option D Not so fast!! This is UTME!! Questions can come in any form, from any where🤲 It will not help you to be parochial. Lucky for you, you have Ajaks Tutorials😁 Anyways, another name for receptacle is thalamus!! So, in plants; Receptacle = Thalamus = Torus Also have it in mind that 'thalamus' is a somewhat archaic form. So, if you come across two of the possible answers and 'thalamus' is one of them, go for 'torus' or 'receptacle'. Do not confuse it with the Thalamus in the brain!! Drop a reaction if you read this to the end!😊 Share if you gained anything from it✨ More at: https://t.me/AjaksTutorials

Can lightning strike the same place twice??😏 Well, there are a few factors that influence this. First, there needs to be something that acts as a conductor, like a tall building or metal pole. Second, there needs to be a lot of moisture in the air for the streamer to reach the ground. Third, there needs to be a path for the electricity to follow once it reaches the ground. If all these factors are present, lightning will likely strike the same place multiple times. So, the lightning we see is actually the result of a complex chain of events involving electrical charge, moisture, and conductivity.

The idea that lightning never strikes the same place twice is a popular misconception. In reality, lightning is more likely to strike the same place repeatedly if there's a reason for it to happen. Scientists estimate that there are around 500-1000 lightning strikes per second across the entire globe! The Empire State Building in New York City is even struck an average of 100 times per year. This is why the building was used as a 'lightning laboratory' to study the phenomenon. To understand lightning, we need to know about electrical charge. Positive and negative charges are always seeking balance, and when they become unbalanced in a storm cloud, a huge charge difference is created between the cloud and the ground. This charge difference sends out 'streamers' of electricity from the cloud, which seek out the path of least resistance to the ground. When one of these streamers hits the ground, a huge bolt of electricity travels back up the streamer to the cloud. This is what we see as lightning.

The highest mountain on Earth is in fact one of the smaller mountains in our solar system – and it isn't even the tallest mountain on our planet, depending on how you measure it! So, what is the tallest mountain in the solar system? The answer, its location, and its monstrous size might surprise you. The tallest mountain in the solar system is Olympus Mons on Mars. It's hard to conceive, but this giant stratovolcano rises 16 miles or 84,480 feet (25 kilometers) above the surface of the red planet – and is one of a dozen huge volcanoes on Mars. For comparison, the tallest volcano on Earth, Mauna Kea, is just 6 miles (10 kilometers) high, and only 2.6 miles (4.1 kilometers) can be seen above sea level. Even more impressive, at the peak of Olympus Mons, a huge caldera (crater) stretches some80 kilometers across it. Meanwhile, the base of Olympus Mons is 341 miles (549 kilometers) wide – basically the length of the state of Mississippi. DID YOU KNOW?😁 Well, now you do! More at: https://t.me/AjaksTutorials

It's important to prepare, put in the work, and be ready to learn from failure. Because, in the end, failure is not the opposite of success, it's a stepping stone on the path to success. Remember, even when you feel like you're falling more often than you're rising, each setback is another opportunity to get stronger, to learn, and to make yourself more resilient for the future. Never give up on your goals, and know that with every challenge you overcome, you're making yourself more capable of fulfilling your dreams. When you face challenges, take a deep breath, and focus on your goals. It's not about how you fall - it's about how you get back up. So pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and carry on!

🗓OCTOBER 4, 1957 🚀On October 4, 1957, the Soviet Union 🇷🇺 launched Sputnik 1, the first artificial satellite to orbit the Earth! This historic moment sparked the "Space Race" between the United States 🇺🇸 and the Soviet Union, who competed for dominance in space technology. As the Cold War intensified, the success of Sputnik fueled American fears of Soviet military and technological superiority 🤖 The Cold War was a geopolitical rivalry between the United States and the Soviet Union that lasted from the end of World War II in 1945 until the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. There was no direct military conflict between the two superpowers, but there was a lot of tension and competition, particularly in the areas of technology and espionage. Sputnik was the first artificial satellite launched into orbit, and it sparked fears in the US that the Soviets were ahead in the space race and had superior military technology.
