സർക്കാർ/എയ്ഡഡ്/സർക്കാർ അംഗീകൃത സ്വാശ്രയ പോളിടെക്നിക്കുകളിൽ മൂന്നു വർഷ ഡിപ്ലോമ കോഴ്സുകൾക്ക് പഠിക്കുന്നവരും സാമ്പത്തികമായി പിന്നാക്കം നിൽക്കുന്നതും കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ മത ന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങളായി അംഗീകരിച്ച് പട്ടികയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുളള മുസ്ലീം, ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ, സിഖ്, ബുദ്ധ, പാഴ്സി, ജൈന വിഭാഗങ്ങളിലുള്ളതുമായ വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്ക് ജനസംഖ്യാനുപാതികമായി ന്യൂനപക്ഷ ക്ഷേമ വകുപ്പ് നൽകുന്ന എ.പി.ജെ.അബ്ദുൽ കലാം സ്കോളർഷിപ്പിന് അപേക്ഷിക്കേണ്ട അവസാന തീയതി ഡിസംബർ രണ്ടുവരെ നീട്ടി.
കേരളത്തിൽ പഠിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥിരതാമസക്കാരായ മുസ്ലീം, ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ, സിഖ്, ബുദ്ധ, പാഴ്സി, ജൈന മതവിഭാഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്ക് ഒരു വർഷം 6,000 രൂപയാണ് സ്കോളർഷിപ്പ്. സർക്കാർ അംഗീകൃത സ്വാശ്രയ പോളിടെക്നിക്കുകളിൽ മെറിറ്റ് സീറ്റിൽ അഡ്മിഷൻ നേടിയ വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്കും അപേക്ഷിക്കാം. ബി.പി.എൽ വിഭാഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ടവർക്ക് മുൻഗണന ലഭിക്കും. ബി.പി.എൽ അപേക്ഷകരുടെ അഭാവത്തിൽ ന്യൂനപക്ഷ മത വിഭാഗത്തിലെ എട്ട് ലക്ഷം രൂപ വരെ വാർഷിക വരുമാനമുളള നോൺ ക്രീമിലയർ വിഭാഗത്തെയും പരിഗണിക്കും. രണ്ടാം വർഷക്കാരേയും മൂന്നാം വർഷക്കാരേയും സ്കോളർഷിപ്പിനായി പരിഗണിക്കും.
ഒറ്റത്തവണ മാത്രമേ സ്കോളർഷിപ്പ് ലഭിക്കുകയുളളൂ. കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം സ്കോളർഷിപ്പിന് അപേക്ഷിച്ച് ലഭിച്ചവർ ഈ വർഷം അപേക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതില്ല. 10 ശതമാനം സ്കോളർഷിപ്പ് പെൺകുട്ടികൾക്കായി സംവരണം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. വിദ്യാർഥികളെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്നത് കുടുംബ വാർഷിക വരുമാനത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ്. അപേക്ഷകർക്ക് ദേശസാൽകൃത ബാങ്കിൽ സ്വന്തം പേരിൽ അക്കൗണ്ട് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം. www.minoritywelfare.kerala.gov.in എന്ന വകുപ്പ് വെബ്സെറ്റിലൂടെ ഓൺലൈനായാണ് അപേക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടത്. കൂടുതൽ വിവരങ്ങൾക്ക്: 0471 2300524.
