He then publicized these endorsements, creating the impression of a medical consensus. 💡 Through a combination of expert testimonials, media coverage, and advertising, Bernays convinced the public that a hearty breakfast was essential for health. 📈 By the end of his campaign, the percentage of Americans eating a substantial breakfast had jumped to 70%. 💰 The result? Sales of Beech-Nut bacon soared. In just a few years, bacon sales increased by 40%, and bacon and eggs became a staple of the American breakfast. 🔮 Bernays' work illustrates how influence and persuasion can reshape societal norms.
