The 80s vs today… ❤️
Sometimes it feels like we didn’t just move forward in time, we left something beautiful behind.
Back then, life was simpler, slower and somehow more real. People talked face-to-face, friendships felt deeper, music had soul, clothes had character, and memories were made rather than recorded. You were present in the moment instead of living through a screen.
Today we have more technology and more ways to connect than ever, yet somehow everything feels more distant, digital and less personal.
Maybe that’s why the 80s still live so deeply in our hearts. It wasn’t perfect, but life felt human. There was innocence, anticipation, connection and a warmth that money and technology can’t replace.
We didn’t have everything back then… but somehow, what we had meant more.

Where’s their bailout?
We pay the taxes. We work the jobs. We pay the bills. We keep this country running. Yet the people with the most power and influence seem to keep getting richer while everyone else is getting poorer, more stressed, depressed and feeling increasingly worthless.
And let’s be honest — this isn’t simply an Albanese problem. They’re all as bad as each other. Different parties, different promises, same revolving door and the same Australians getting screwed.
Australia isn’t broke.
OUR PRIORITIES ARE BROKEN.
Put Australians first. Fix housing. Tackle the cost of living. Help families, pensioners and young Australians who are doing everything right and still getting hammered.
People shouldn’t have to spend their lives working just to survive while those at the top continue enjoying privileges most Australians could only dream of.
We deserve better than this.
