The sanctioned strength of BAS is more than UPPCS (almost 33% more). Meanwhile the entire strength of BAS is directly recruited in comparison to uppcs where half of the deputy collectors are promotees from Naib Tehsildars. Also, IAS positions reserved in UP for SCS Officers are more than twice that of Bihar. Also UP Deputy collector is Group A while Bihar deputy collector is Group B. In simple terms a UP SDM will have better career opportunities along with earlier chances of joining the IAS.

UPPCS 2026 NOTIFICATION.pdf2.10 MB

Dear mentees, UPPCS 2026 notification is OUT- around 500 vacancies. This is not just a notification; this is a direct call to every serious aspirant who was waiting for one solid reason to become dangerous again. From today, no casual preparation. No “I will start tomorrow.” No half-hearted reading. The exam will not reward emotion, excuses, or screenshots. It will reward discipline, revision, PYQs, accuracy, and the courage to stay consistent when others slow down. Remember this: vacancies are not filled by the most talented people. They are filled by the most prepared people. Some of you are only one serious attempt away from changing your family’s story. Don’t waste this window. UPPCS is not asking for perfection. It is asking for daily honesty. From today, treat every hour like it has rank value. Read static. Track current affairs. Revise ruthlessly. Solve PYQs like a lawyer cross-examining the paper setter. And most importantly, don’t disappear after the notification excitement fades. This is the season where serious aspirants separate from motivational tourists. Gear up. Sit tight. Study like your name is already waiting in the final list. - Venkat
