Boaz noticed Ruth’s good character and loyalty to Naomi. He treated her kindly, protected her, and allowed her to gather more grain. Ruth remained respectful, humble, and obedient throughout this period. Naomi later advised Ruth on how to approach Boaz according to Jewish customs regarding family redemption and marriage. Ruth followed Naomi’s instructions faithfully.
Because of Ruth’s loyalty, faithfulness, humility, and trust in God, Boaz eventually married her. Their marriage was blessed with a son named Obed, who later became the grandfather of King David. Ruth’s story therefore became an example of how loyalty and faithfulness can lead to blessings and honor from God.

Two lessons from the story of Ruth that can help build strong relationships today are:
First, loyalty and commitment are important in relationships. Ruth remained faithful to Naomi even during difficult times, showing that true relationships require sacrifice and support.
Second, humility and kindness help strengthen relationships. Ruth respected Naomi, worked hard, and treated others with kindness, which earned her favor and love from both Naomi and Boaz

Moses was chosen by God to lead the Israelites out of Egypt after they had suffered many years of slavery under Pharaoh. God appeared to Moses through a burning bush on Mount Horeb and commanded him to go to Egypt and deliver His people. Although Moses at first felt unqualified and afraid, God assured him of divine support and gave him signs to prove His power.
Moses returned to Egypt with his brother Aaron and met Pharaoh. They demanded that Pharaoh release the Israelites so they could worship God in the wilderness. However, Pharaoh refused and even increased the suffering of the Israelites. Because of Pharaoh’s stubbornness, God sent a series of plagues upon Egypt through Moses. These plagues included turning water into blood, frogs, lice, flies, death of livestock, boils, hail, locusts, darkness, and finally the death of the firstborn sons in Egypt.
Before the final plague, God instructed the Israelites to celebrate the Passover by killing a lamb and placing its blood on their doorposts so the angel of death would pass over their homes. After the death of the Egyptian firstborns, Pharaoh finally allowed the Israelites to leave Egypt.
Moses then led the Israelites out of Egypt toward the Promised Land. As they approached the Red Sea, Pharaoh changed his mind and pursued them with his army. The Israelites became afraid, but Moses trusted in God. God miraculously parted the Red Sea, allowing the Israelites to cross on dry ground. When the Egyptians followed them, the waters returned and drowned Pharaoh’s army.
After their deliverance, Moses continued to guide the Israelites through the wilderness toward the land God promised to their ancestors. Through faith, courage, and obedience to God, Moses successfully led the Israelites out of bondage in Egypt.

Moses demonstrated several important leadership qualities during his role as leader of Israel.
First, he showed faith in God. Even when Pharaoh refused to release the Israelites and the people became discouraged, Moses continued to trust in God’s promises and direction.
Second, Moses showed courage and boldness. He confronted Pharaoh, the most powerful ruler in Egypt, despite fear and opposition. He stood firmly for God’s command without giving up.
Third, Moses displayed patience and perseverance. The Israelites often complained and rebelled during their journey, yet Moses continued to guide and intercede for them instead of abandoning them.
These qualities made Moses a successful and respected leader of God’s people.

The life of Ruth clearly shows loyalty and faithfulness through her actions toward Naomi and her commitment to God. Ruth was a Moabite woman who married Mahlon, the son of Elimelech and Naomi. After the death of her husband, her father-in-law, and her brother-in-law, Naomi decided to return to Bethlehem from Moab because of the famine and suffering they experienced.
Naomi advised her daughters-in-law, Ruth and Orpah, to remain in Moab and return to their families. Orpah eventually left, but Ruth refused to abandon Naomi. Ruth showed great loyalty by choosing to stay with her mother-in-law despite uncertainty and hardship ahead. She famously declared that wherever Naomi went, she would go, and Naomi’s people and God would become her own people and God. This showed Ruth’s faithfulness not only to Naomi but also to the God of Israel.
When they arrived in Bethlehem, Ruth continued to demonstrate faithfulness through hard work and humility. To provide food for herself and Naomi, she went to glean leftover grain in the fields according to the Jewish law that allowed the poor to gather leftovers after harvesters. Ruth worked diligently in the field of Boaz, a wealthy relative of Naomi’s husband.
