Hi All, Happy Morning! 🌅 *September 5 is Teachers’ Day*. 📚✨ It is a day when a seeker pauses to recognise, with gratitude, the grace of the Guru in his or her life — celebrating with joy and gratitude, melting in the presence and merging in the silence. 🙏 *What we have given to our teachers can be measured* *What our teachers have given to us can never be measured* While most creations have shown only marginal evolution through centuries, the progress of humankind has been extraordinary. Who made this possible? The teachers. You may say, “The thinkers!” But who taught the thinkers to think? Again, the teachers. Who has been the link between those thinkers and you and me? Again, the teachers. What makes me write this message today? Some teacher once held my hand and taught me to write A, B, C, D… What makes you read this? Some teacher patiently repeated phonetic sounds, again and again, for your sake and for the sake of your entire class. How did the wisdom of enlightened masters, the logic of mathematicians, the discoveries and inventions of scientists, the thoughts of philosophers, and the stories of history-makers reach the common person? Through teachers. *According to me, people who take up teaching for anything other than shaping the mind and heart of their students diminish the sanctity of this beautiful profession* Teaching should not merely be an intellectual choice. It should be an emotional flowering — a spiritual expression. The teacher-student relationship is not merely a transfer of words; it is also a transmission of energy. In every lesson we inherit from a teacher, a part of that teacher lives within us. If we remove the sun from its rays, nothing remains. If we remove the mud from the pot, nothing remains. If we remove the cause from the effect, nothing remains. And if we remove the teachings of our teachers from us, what remains of who we are? I once wrote in my diary: “If only I had known how beautiful it is to be a teacher, perhaps I would have enjoyed it right from the beginning.” The bamboo is cut to become a flute. The stone is chiselled to become a statue. The gold is melted to become a jewel. The journey of a passionate teacher is just as beautiful — a journey that has to be experienced rather than explained. A gardener tends to the buds and helps them blossom into beautiful flowers. 🌸 But sometimes, in their innocence, the flowers teach the gardener a few lessons too — the joy of giving and the contentment that comes from spreading beauty and colour. As someone rightly said: *“While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about.”* Teaching is leaving a part of oneself in the development of another. And surely, a student is like a bank where you can deposit your most precious treasures. I am glad to be a billionaire in that aspect! 😊❤️ 🌟 *Wisdom Nuggets from a Passionate Teacher* 1. “A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle.” 🕯️ Never hesitate to share your knowledge.
